It seemed that while i carried you in my tummy, time was so slow. The months ticked by as slow as possible and nothing seemed to make it go faster. But now since you were born, time is zooming by as fast as possible and i find my self taking back all those times i wished it would just hurry up.<br /><br />You are still such a happy baby. You love to talk and make noise, the louder the better in your opinion. You also love to chew. Your hands and blankets seems to be your favorite, but you will also torture your toys as well.<br /><br />We found out that you are not alergic to milk or soy products and were then refered to a GI specialist at Mary Bridge Hospital in Tacoma, Wa. There we found out that you have a immature GI track and that when we switched you from breastfeeding to formula, it shocked your system causing constipation. The Dr. said that once a baby has that problem then they get scared to go number 2 and then it causes a larger problem. You are now on a daily laxitive that you take just fine and seem to getting use to alright. The first time you took it though the next day you had a blow out up to your neck, it was quiet nasty!!<br /><br />You still love and adore Kason. You think its so funny when he pretends to sneeze. You laugh and squeal at him.<br /><br />During your 5th month you got to go to the zoo again! This time you went with Grandpa and Grandma Cline, Auntie Carrie and Uncle Adam, Brinnon, Samantha, Daddy, Mommy, and Kason. We went for the zoo lights!! You did amazing. Your rode in the stroller like a big girl for the first time and was bundled up so much you could barely move, but you loved it. It was at night and it was dark and most of the animals were inside sleeping, but the lights were amazing!<br />You also got to go to your very first cookie day with all the girls in mommys family. We make cookies all day long, and you had alot of fun getting tons of attention. Especially attention from Grandpa McGuire. You have a special connection with him and i love watching you guys together, he loves you so much.<br />You also got to have your first Christmas! We did Christmas eve at Grandma and Grandpa McGuires house. Santa came and you got to sit on his lap and get pictures. He gave you a cute little elf doll, you love it! Christmas day we opened stockings at home and then went to church. After chruch we came home and opened the rest of our presents. Then we headed over to Rodney and Danelles and enjoyed eachothers company while you got held alot and the kids played with new toys.<br /><br />I think the biggest thing that happened during your 5th month is that you ROLLED OVER!! at 4 months and 1 week old exactly you rolled over from tummy to front and have been ever since. You HATE tummy time. So i think you started rolling over to avoid it!<br /><br />You still sleep alot. You defiently take after Mommy in the sleeping department. You go to bed around 8-9 usually and sleep until 7ish in the morning. then you take your first nap about 9-10ish for about 2-3 hours and then another nap about 1 or 2 for about 2-3 hours. You love to sleep in your own crib. You still have to be wrapped up tight in order to sleep all through the night, or else you wake yourself up with your hands.<br /><br />You love to laugh and smile alot. We have been so blessed with such a happy calm baby!! Even as you have been teething (still no teeth) you are still as happy as can be.<br /><br />love,<br />Mommy<br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhthFkkSULy1djJ0v1AwyT7s-tcvBwJHvGejlaJyyLgaRNn3-TIo8FEOueUqtvkPkfWcSb84_GKp_piyqhyphenhyphenCFs68UPhj3qehHm1ttUA0N52JoG5qRdByz2zV_yypAoG7hnj6AEW/s1600/madison5months4.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697256447419397282" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhthFkkSULy1djJ0v1AwyT7s-tcvBwJHvGejlaJyyLgaRNn3-TIo8FEOueUqtvkPkfWcSb84_GKp_piyqhyphenhyphenCFs68UPhj3qehHm1ttUA0N52JoG5qRdByz2zV_yypAoG7hnj6AEW/s400/madison5months4.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjQIikxOONjUUor8a_8J0JEav3XndvRhDoTVS3Wd77SbMq90XTYWxIdmpTU4um5ZQ8ah7lmQr-_I7CXYMzxHzvVGoVVXFz4gg8doHK55XmP8T3EfSeJIBdEUAo3diaDm1IztkM/s1600/madison5months2.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697256440831823026" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjQIikxOONjUUor8a_8J0JEav3XndvRhDoTVS3Wd77SbMq90XTYWxIdmpTU4um5ZQ8ah7lmQr-_I7CXYMzxHzvVGoVVXFz4gg8doHK55XmP8T3EfSeJIBdEUAo3diaDm1IztkM/s400/madison5months2.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div>Laura McGeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10962767449429257201noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12511088.post-15276382057154127552011-11-29T14:47:00.003-08:002011-11-29T15:11:29.958-08:00Dear Maddie: 4 months<div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhl-QdjhlXTizibKUeG5ZV9baBQuVsmHgvlS7uOddudcgaZRTuZ8gcOAp1QwxcrjhQPRtKnb9UliFUB8MTaPg2glREratLyGRB1Em0RhF7uG22XoZLu8q2-2nle0QmKHPCM9kzi/s1600/madison4month9.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680554106676515394" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhl-QdjhlXTizibKUeG5ZV9baBQuVsmHgvlS7uOddudcgaZRTuZ8gcOAp1QwxcrjhQPRtKnb9UliFUB8MTaPg2glREratLyGRB1Em0RhF7uG22XoZLu8q2-2nle0QmKHPCM9kzi/s400/madison4month9.jpg" /></a> stats</div><br /><div align="center">12lbs 11oz</div><br /><div align="center">23.25 in</div><br /><div align="left">Dear Madison,</div><br /><div align="left">These last four months haev really flown by. I often find myself looking back and trying to figure out exactly where the time has gone. You are getting bigger and bigger each day and every day. You bring so much happiness and peace to our family and home.</div><br /><div align="left">You have found your voice these past weeks. You are one loud little girl. You fit in very well in our family. You love to squeal and make all kinds of noises now that you figure out how. There are times that I can hear you from all the way downstairs while you are upstairs!!</div><br /><div align="left">You also LOVE to laugh. You are starting to get tickelish under your arms. Your laugh is adorable! You laugh the most when we lift you high in the air and bring you back down fast. you giggle tons when we do that. You also laugh alot at Kason while he is playing with his toys, making funny sounds, or trying to play with you. You sure love him alot, and he loves you tons too.</div><br /><div align="left">You love to put your hands in your mouth and chew on them, or mommys hands. You also have been able to put your binky in your mouth now too if you are holding it just right. You also have a few toys you have been holding onto and chewing on, maybe you will be getting teeth soon? you have been drooling alot lately too!!</div><br /><div align="left">We have been putting you in your jumper/exersaucer for about a month to two months now and you love it. You now jump and kick and laugh and play forever. You think its the coolest thing ever. You love it when someone helps you bounce higher. I have a feeling you will be the kind of person who wants to go faster and higher at most things, roller coasters maybe? :)</div><br /><div align="left">After sitting in your highchair for a month and staring at our food, you finally got to try baby ceral yesterday on your 4 month mark. You LOVED it!! You were pretty hungry and by the time i got it ready you were so upset you wouldnt take it, so we made you a bottle and let you drink 2oz and once you calmed down we fed you your first bite. at first you were not sure what to do with it, but you got the hang of it quiet quickly, which surprised us at how fast you did. You ate the whole bowl!! This morning mommy made you another bowl for breakfast and you loved it as well. I knew you would love food!! We are starting out by mixing two tbs of rice ceral with 1oz formula. you eat every last bite.</div><br /><div align="left">You still love baths, especially when Kason is taking a bath and mommy holds you while you play in the tub with him. You mostly just float with most of your body under the water, but you always get a big smile on your face and you just relax. </div><br /><div align="left">Yesterday you had your 4month check-up at the doctors. They said you are doing very well and are impressed at how well you stand up. You LOVE to stand. Any chance you get you will stand (we are holding onto your hands) and you can hold up yourself for such a long long time. You have super good balance as well. I think you maybe an early walker, we will see. You got two shots at the doctors, and you were NOT happy about that. You did calm down rather quickly which was nice. Also we had your blood drawn to test if you are alergic to dairy and soybeans, we get the results in 6 days. For the last month you have been on soy formula and have gotten better, but i still think there is something wrong. You are unable to have bowel movements regularly and when you do, they are harder than rocks and you scream and scream until it finally comes out. Similar to your brother when he has dairy. So im hoping to hear back from the doctors ASAP and hope that its the dairy and soymilk thats causing this and not something more serious. </div><br /><div align="left">You had your first thanksgiving. We had it with Grandma and Grandpa Larry this year at the church. You got held alot, jumped in a bouncer, and slept. I did sneak a tiny bit of potatoes to you, and you looked at my like i was crazy lol. </div><br /><div align="left">I hate how fast time is flying by, but with each day you are gettting stronger and happier and sillier. We love you so much and are so grateful we have you in our family.</div><br /><div align="left">Love, </div><br /><div align="left">mommy</div><br /><div align="left"><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680554104931445010" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVmYorkvXao1gwhMh0qWm0ec0UIN_H9_2KMZTA_aZgX409tTtBnrrWSy3x8Z1U0G3FEaSjLMIv0LZq0b9eqvJGey4z8QepaDPYBy8RMFunwQxVv_mDspolgaWV6wfG3aynPOs0/s400/madison4month8.jpg" /></div><br /><div align="center"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680554080634037506" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgS0hV4-J3pxTr-6dPm9yepkLgHWcBkbXFz3otgjRhDXrLA3qjdF8qCrOWi4QOvSVdb5afKfF8qaLq5o9TVqLpqGh7-6rpG7QBF-hnnUGX_gsdgVjsmaZWWv3hafieDPAcaHZ6a/s400/madison4month7.jpg" />when you get excited you stiffen out your legs, throw out your arms and get cute little smiles on your face and usually squeal! <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680554074393125474" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsMyWhBl8efFrjBIx954j2CarJezKfX9fA4XvLsoz5iFRUTzc8GOaI0eIpeXkJAjHuO82xUXzRVhAKGpcXS-6RZxia7e81JHXn4Wfmk11hcyAJ42A__yZ6WwPeSYRyTQThnk_e/s400/madison4month6.jpg" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680553426559127666" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBJHBmJ8ucCuhdl39QD8rfd5k-3jcDLSMyQaXzZxyEZv7mRiCL14deMRjYgccRb-fF8FnB9PFMYBmGdUyuX6ByXdVafxZwr5QctEtx7qMHvDqp19EWTHLlfCzPLPkWFc0_6ube/s400/madison4month5.jpg" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680553402000147570" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSS8qsJzdl6yxBJNQgTeMhdjdOECT8GULWai0-DxmGOREcaZE34OnTzPZjLIokL75eeS2NG5N5CgkXXJ8LPp2ByPnbKPLyh38048FxK1yIXfA3wZvIbBsl9m5sp6ArjlVH4c6m/s400/madison4month4.jpg" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680553384216168386" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbpMKbhlpNRYkSZNjl-D4qe99AaLB6ACDeZyJ_GIN5iZokbr8k2aCuEz600CIwuceF5TIIoOSQPDE0zB8wVwegpMb_BWu4vBIQWVIxsakZNNear9_-DF7kk-3ZXQYXdL2xokap/s400/madison4month3.jpg" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680553380375629074" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQ7DEr9ptcqV9k_iL4jxSs64tSTDSufMQ7Vsp3KWRzSR1TQ-qAazfsfqXoOy7tVYtjXqHBtcyRBM6Z4O2PTKlVn89azKRJanv_h4G2DdIR6HF6CMzCW7v0cif5VXMEZ1W-96Yb/s400/madison4month2.jpg" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 267px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680553375031440386" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho125u-PsRghH5otOLnCImZw8mxlpS15y6iKUsNWGYpTYxtdgiZLYQaJBhl2pIbcBzP6fbzjrcuM9PzhPKRUmq9YwCM5IFJkiOSKzf_s4rZHzPlz1r7gVXckFrZ3oM6KJ4VoI6/s400/madison4month1.jpg" /></div>Laura McGeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10962767449429257201noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12511088.post-33315908884882724432011-11-14T14:58:00.005-08:002011-11-14T15:27:26.137-08:00Dear Maddie: 3 months<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 286px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5674990559860169586" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWwF0w37PQbzHbEu2D9xaUbf_CCYx7SMuxaCxICOY_ZObPlDaaGAbV7ZmSTtUI18AJw59Hpcf14GDZmgxx_Wvx_2qT7xDNfb2mOz-m2dQTm-s8uAN9nNrI-1Yf8LBtqBRWjrs6/s400/3month7.jpg" /><br />Dear Madison,<br />You are growing up to fast! Slow down a bit for your mommy, please! These pictures were actually taken when you were about 3.5 months. We had a bit of printer issues and i was not able to make your adorable onsie until today, november 14th.<br /><br />We did not have you weighed for your 3 month mark, but if i had to guess you would be about 10-11lbs. You are my tiny little girl. We get many remarks about how adorable and tiny and petite you are. You are wearing 0-3 month clothes and have finally out grew your newborn clothes. You can still fit into a few newborn pants though.<br /><br />You are eating 4-6oz every 4-6 hours. You have also started sleeping 10 hours at night. This is amazing considering you are only 3 months old!! We have started a bedtime routine as well. You get a bottle about 8 or 9 at night and then its diaper change, wrapped up in your wrap, and laid down, but not before many kisses and hugs from mommy, daddy, and kason. We turn on your mobile and shut the light off and close the door. You fall asleep almost right away.<br /><br />We have put you in your jumping exersaucer and you love it. You try to jump a bit, but mostly you like that you are standing and looking around. Since the weather is getting colder we have been having a fire in the fireplace. You love sitting in your jumper watching the fire. If you are fussy we will set you infront of the fireplace and you will calm down and watch the flames flicker for quite some time.<br /><br />You also now sit in your highchair seat while we eat dinner. You would get upset if we were eating and you were not watching us. Now you are happy to watch us eat, even though sometimes we feel so guilty eating as you are watching us and drooling and you cannot eat anything yet.<br /><br />You hate tummy time. You scream and scream until we pick you up. You will not lift your head and look around. You usually lift your legs up and tipping forward on your tummy, cause your face to smush into the blanket. You hate it.<br /><br />You had your first halloween. You were a super adorable Lady Bug! Mommy actually bought your costume back in August. I saw it right away and had to have it. You got many compliments and everyone loved your costume and thought you were too cute!!<br /><br />Mommy also took your pictures inside a pumpking. You had only a diaper on, and even though it was a bit chilly outside, the sun was out and you didn't get too cold. Mommy put a blanket inside the pumpkin and you didn't mind it for a few minutes, then you wanted out. You loved watching Mommy throw the leaves in the air and let the drop.<br /><br />You have been smiling and laughing alot more. You find the most random things to the be the funniest. Daddy was signing the alphabet song one night and was saying the sounds of the letters and when he got to C you started laughing and smiling. For some reason you find the C sound to be too funny!<br /><br />One of your favorite things to do is stick out your tounge! We have all been doing it to you since you were only a few weeks old and you have loved it. Now you do it ALL the time. You love to have us stick ours out then smile and then you will copy us. It keeps us all entertained for a long time!!<br /><br />You have brought us so much light and joy into our lives. We love you so much. Papa Cline and Mommy took you and brother to the zoo. While Kason ran around and enjoyed him self you slept and ate your bottle and was very content, which is normal for you. You are such a happy baby, you still only cry when you are hungry or in pain. You love to smile and are started to laugh a little bit!! Daddy can get you to smile so big and everytime without fail.<br />Mommy changed your formula to sensitive kind because you were so gassy!! You can clear a room my dear, not so lady like :). Also you had tummy issues and were not doing number 2 either. So with this new formula and some bottles with water you have been doing much better.<br />You love your brother and he loves you so much. He always gives you star to cuddle with and lays with you when you are playing on your floormat toys. He always wants to hold you while he watches movies.<br />You are drinking 4oz every 4-5 hours and at night time you are going 6-8 hours. Mommy really likes that!! You sleep in your crib at night and still love it. Mommy uses a swaddle blanket and wraps you up tight and sticks your binky in your mouth. You love your binky. you get good night kisses and loves and then mommy says "good night my sweet girl" and puts you to bed. If you are not already asleep, you will talk to yourself for a few minutes and fall right to sleep. During the day you love your swing and will take naps in that or in my arms. You like to snuggle at night with mommy while Daddy and Kason have already gone to bed. Mommy and you usually watches movies or reads a book.<br />You like to be moving. If the car is stuck at a light too long and your awake you will let us know it's time to start moving. Same as in the shopping cart at the store or in your stroller. You like your swing to be on the fastest it can go. If the batteries start to die, you will let us know!!<br />You love music. You like your mobile in your crib and the elephants that circle over your head. You Love the lights and music on your swing. Music calms you down if you are crying. You love when Mommy and Daddy and even Kason sing's "I'm a child of God".<br />This past week you got to hang out with your cousin Andres. He is only 5 days older and you are about the same height but makes you look like a white little stick!! You are my tiny skinny girl. Alot of your pants fall right off of you. You are still wearing newborn diapers, or costco brands 1-2 which are pretty tiny. Mommy made you some fabric shoes since your feet are so skinny and long, nothing much fits them.<br />You have started to loose alot of your hair. Mostly on top and then it goes around to the back, so all you have left is a tuft of red hair on the crown of your head and the base of the back of your head, and a tiny bit by your ears. You are still dang cute though, and your hair is still nice and red, making your Grandma's and Mommy very happy!<br />Each day Mommy and Daddy and Kason fall more and more in love with you. We couldn't imagine what life would be like with out our little Maddie girl. You are always so Happy and smiling all the time.<br />We love you so much!!<br />Love,<br />Mommy<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0UW8i-mZEt91QgUq92fbZxERfx5GZXslroNW7Mv3lHFjGeIukkpLN1MXxoCBnKioUVsEn5E_n3sFM7q_jlrxvjGEkuhUz6F5RSlaysn1PArTQL594UTIT4U4GmxLJ4_p4fXzq/s1600/5.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657948439393855042" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0UW8i-mZEt91QgUq92fbZxERfx5GZXslroNW7Mv3lHFjGeIukkpLN1MXxoCBnKioUVsEn5E_n3sFM7q_jlrxvjGEkuhUz6F5RSlaysn1PArTQL594UTIT4U4GmxLJ4_p4fXzq/s400/5.jpg" /></a> you sometimes gives us these worried looks, like this picture. My baby boy turned 4!! Seriously where has the time gone? I remember the day we had him, the anxiousness, the anxiety of a c-section, the joy of holding him in my arms the first time. The way his cheeks felt on my lips when i first kissed him. My shock of having a 9lb 5oz baby with a shock of black hair.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 286px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657943328026269810" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5OgtqVgYwKPLj99GLN-v4BQ7GEqKEcoy-Y8OZimskzNaK0Fi5we2xCd9sgeb0ieBZAIIemkhaVJhI8-QAUv_h3VFE8Sq4hd9barwncKnd_3zgla_7z4MUOY8X9p5rP4882pch/s400/kason2.jpg" />I really could not imagine what our life would be like without him. To be honest you are exactly 6 weeks and 1 day old. Mommy goofed a little and didnt make your cute onsie and take your picture until today. But we don't have to tell any one that :).<br />You are such an amazing gift from God. I couldn't imagine what life would be like without. You are such a easy going wonderful baby. You have slept almost through the night since birth. You only wake up once or twice to eat and then go right back down. You sleep in your crib at night and love it. You love to sit in your swing and sleep during the day. You love your swing, and you like it to go fast! You also love your binky, bath time, being in just a diaper, and at night time you love to be wrapped up tight in your wrap blanket.<br />During your first month you were blessed, at just over a week old. On August 7th, 2011. It was such an amazing blessing. Your Daddy did a wonderful job and and you were surrounded by so much family. You wore my blessing dress which your Grandma Cline worse as well. Grandma McGuire made it. You were beautiful!!<br />You also have been to the doctors many many times. You were born weighing 7lbs 15oz and when we left the hospital two days later you were down to 7lbs 4oz which is normal. But by Monday, at 4 days old, you dropped down to 6lbs 14 oz. We started to make you eat every two hours and id nurse you for at least 30 minutes. We went back the next week and you had dropped down to 6lbs 9oz. That scared Mommy and Daddy. You were too tiny!! So i started to pump and found out that Mommy was not making enough milk for you. After much prayer and lots of trying we decided that you would be better of on formula. Since then you have gained weight wonderfully! You took to the bottle great and at first it was hard for Mommy to not nurse you anymore, but it helped knowing you were getting great nuturtion and where healthier with the bottle and formula.<br />You love to grab things with your hands and not let go. You just fling your arms out and grab until you get ahold of something. You also love to smile and are now starting to make cooing sounds while doing so.<br />At two weeks old you rolled over from tummy to back and have done so since then. You don't mind tummy time either.<br />At just 5 weeks you went camping for your first time. We slept in Grandma and Grandpa Cline's motorhome. You did great camping! you were hardly put down, only while people ate. All your Auntie's, Uncles, cousins, and grandparents adore you and love you so much!<br />you rarely cry. You really only cry when you are hungry. You love to sleep, and you do that alot! You also like to watch people and things go by. You are very observant. You can also hold your head up for a while too on your own with out flopping it back or too far forward.<br />You are finally starting to fit into some 0-3 month clothes. newborn clothing fits you best, and that has even taken a while. When you first were born nothing fit you!! We almost bought you premie clothing but instead just had you where newborn clothes that hung on you a bit.<br />You still fit in newborn diapers and size 1 diapers fit a little bit big, but you can still wear them.<br />Your hair has fallen out a tiny bit on top but you still have some towards the back top of your head and the back of your head. You hair is still red too, which Mommy is very pleased with! Your eyes are still very dark blue and mommy wonders if they were turn brown or stay blue.<br />You have brought us so much joy and love in these past 6 weeks and cannot wait to see you explore, learn, and grow as time goes by.<br />love,<br />Mommy<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-mk91TXcIsOGuJLlL2SGhkMTELoSFh1jkNdnFp8qg5GcHLhqLa4aMK3PcJW3IymyXqnxigL608BASY0gJ95vJHFQ3kYU5dIFB7Lpud5R1Y5c8C8Ieg__8C5yN-drlPxVPVgX7/s1600/1month2.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 267px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5650481631599704594" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-mk91TXcIsOGuJLlL2SGhkMTELoSFh1jkNdnFp8qg5GcHLhqLa4aMK3PcJW3IymyXqnxigL608BASY0gJ95vJHFQ3kYU5dIFB7Lpud5R1Y5c8C8Ieg__8C5yN-drlPxVPVgX7/s400/1month2.jpg" /></a> You yawn alot too!<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 267px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5650481629944025170" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWguPgg6JlrB_nq9n2fI_jYU4nc8BXEyL8mvG4UXy8cXVIQUcl5VlWWlyA-9jK0c74trMu8BiDvBt5iwo0-ml7xlp5EiWpPhmCUxGFX2lvhP0M3FAwAI4fvSWNnwvlbh4wFlQP/s400/1month3.jpg" />And you have such a serious face. <br /><div>First picture of us 3</div>
<br /><div>*****************</div>
<br /><div>First off, it has been one day shy of 4 weeks since Madison was born. We have been having internet issues and finally got them all figured out and i can FINALLY blog and post pictures of our precious little girl.
<br />
<br />
<br /><div>Madison's birth was planned for the 28th of July. I had a c-section with Kason due to his large size and so i will be having c-sections with all our children. We picked the 28th (just a few days before her actual due date) for her to be born.</div>
<br /><div></div>
<br /><div>My pregnancy had been easy for the most part and so when i started to have contractions and major stomach pains on the 22nd of July i was a bit freaked out. They continued for an hour, and they were so painful i could hardly talk or move. I called up Danelle (my sister in law) and she drove me up to Harrison. When we got there (after getting logan from work) the pain had pretty much stopped. They checked me out and everything and i was not having contractions and they were not sure what the pain was from. I was fine the rest of the day and all day saturday. Sunday they started back up again and we left church early. They stopped after an hour and then on Monday they started back up again but then stopped after 3 hours.</div>
<br />
<br /><div>Tuesday i had my last appointment and everything checked out fine. I was still set for that Thursday, the 28th. </div>
<br />
<br /><div>Wednesday i cleaned the entire house and bags all packed. We took Kason up to my sisters house to stay until we got home from the hospital. He was so excited to be going there he didn't care when we left, we had to beg for hugs goodbye!! We then set off towards Poulsbo to stay at my Grandma and Grandpa McGuires house. We stopped in Tacoma for my last meal. We ate at Red lobster and man it was YUMMY! :) </div>
<br />
<br /><div>The next morning we woke up and headed off to Silverdale to have Maddie! We got there at 10 and was scheduled to start the c-section at noon. Check in was great, i was assigned the most amazing nurse Adale. LOVED HER! I wish i would have had her the entire time we were there!! The anesthesiologist came in and I told him all my concerns about getting sick again. (with Kason the meds they gave me got me so sick i didnt even hold him until 2am, he was born at 5:21pm)</div>
<br />
<br /><div>The Dr. was amazing and explained all the options and how that the medicen was prolly not the cause of my sickness lastnight but my heartrate and blood pressure dropping. </div>
<br />
<br /><div>They rolled me out just after noon and Logan was able to walk into the OR with me and be there the whole time, even when setting up etc. </div>
<br />
<br /><div>Madison was born at 12:44om on July 28th 2011. She was loud as soon as she came out, thats our kid! She weighed in at 7lbs 15oz and 21inches long. Immediatly i was told she had red hair!! i was so excited and shocked! i wanted a red head but doubted i would ever get one :)</div>
<br />
<br /><div>I was sewed up and rolled back into our temp. room. Maddie was given her first bath, which she LOVED, and then we were transported to our premenate room. Vistors came, lots of them. Kason got to meet his baby sister and they exchanged gifts, it was cute. </div>
<br />
<br /><div>We stayed until Saturday and left that afternoon. </div>
<br />
<br /><div>We had her at Harrison in Silverdale and i have to tell you it was the best experience at a hospital ever. The staff is amazing, the rooms are nice, and the food is great. I loved almost every moment there. Yeah it was a drive from Shelton, but totally worth it. </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>

For the first trimester i was sick sick sick. I didnt keep too much down, slept alot, and pretty much made a permanent body imprint on my couch.<br />-Kason lived off cartoons and mac n cheese for lunches for a while. He was fine with that though :)<br />-Kason loves his little sister already and will cuddle on my tummy, telling me he was cuddling with maddie.<br />-We didn't tell anyone about this pregnancy until i had an ultrasound at 12 weeks. It was SO hard keeping it from everyone, especially during Christmas time. That was tough.<br />-I craved watermelon sour candies. Couldn't get enough of them! so yummy!! Anything sweet would actually help me feel better and not so sick.<br />-I started showing at 12 weeks!! Way sooner than with Kason.<br />-I already knew i was having a girl without having proof, i just felt it.<br />-Picked out our girl name, Madison. Logan came up with it. Love it!<br /><br />Second Trimester<br />-Starting to show ALOT more!!<br />-We bought our first home and moved out of our very tiny apartment. That was a huge thing for me. I was so scared we would bring Maddie home and she'd have no where to sleep, literally!<br />-We found out Maddie was indeed a GIRL!!<br />-Maddie offically got her middle name Elizabeth, from my middle name.<br />- Stopped puking so much, but still gag with brushing teeth!<br />-Had a scare on easter with a sharp pain. ending up being nothing really.<br />-been swelling alot in the hands and feet<br />-FINALLY found a doctor we really love and sticking with! She will actually be the one performing the c-section.<br />-craved deviled eggs!! ate so many on Easter.<br /><br />Third Trimester<br />-Wanting to get Maddie's room done, but have not yet.<br />-Made 8 dresses for the little one<br />-Went through all the clothes my sister saved from her girls. 7 large 18 gallon totes!!<br />-Babysat Amy's kids while in Hawaii. Pooped!!<br />-been eating alot of peanut butter. mostly with apples. Cant get enough!<br />-been on a chocolate crave as well.<br /><br />So far this pregnancy has gone fairly smooth. Have been having issues with swelling in my hands and feet which i don't like, but hey its okay! :) I am one week from hitting my 8th month mark! can not believe how far along i am already! With moving and everything its gone by really fast. Which is great for me!Laura McGeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10962767449429257201noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12511088.post-26552380411761330492011-03-21T18:46:00.003-07:002011-03-21T18:58:14.406-07:00Bring on Spring!!I'm happy that it is finally spring.<br />Even though the weather today here wasn't exactly ideal, it was not bad.<br />It warmed up a tiny bit and the sun did come out this afternoon.<br />We welcomed spring with grilling steak and asparagus, and baked potatoes :)<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihNRPiT2gqNcCTW5s7rKbAxMnq0VmfP_1ylOzPUzo3oIHVN3bWGzgV_NC6Ns_HRlVIPrtbWWI_F36rTMj04EO7iQ0OaTWkmb1rBk4D4q65jSI6UOKCgKUvRl6Pdvocnsy5gTOE/s1600/steak1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihNRPiT2gqNcCTW5s7rKbAxMnq0VmfP_1ylOzPUzo3oIHVN3bWGzgV_NC6Ns_HRlVIPrtbWWI_F36rTMj04EO7iQ0OaTWkmb1rBk4D4q65jSI6UOKCgKUvRl6Pdvocnsy5gTOE/s400/steak1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5586716332529060274" border="0" /></a>Logan was even fancy and did the cool grill marks :)<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVaI2HUEVkDv9Jgh2MVBerzHspAUCPBN1zsNDtATFnB9fDZtMs_oWDbG3sxqZ4q0YvRzcjzXqIwyiS4uvqqeYXR5RtxfruX2u5J3mELy_FPTmEDVwitYPwfu9y0CjiPOOLhJWl/s1600/steak2.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVaI2HUEVkDv9Jgh2MVBerzHspAUCPBN1zsNDtATFnB9fDZtMs_oWDbG3sxqZ4q0YvRzcjzXqIwyiS4uvqqeYXR5RtxfruX2u5J3mELy_FPTmEDVwitYPwfu9y0CjiPOOLhJWl/s400/steak2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5586716334848403666" border="0" /></a>MMmMMMmMmMm the best.<br />Have you ever had asparagus grilled?<br />its amazing. and easy too.<br />all you need to do is cut the ends off and put them in a shallow dish. drizzle olive oil over and season with salt and pepper.<br />use your hands and mix it up a little to make sure they are fully coated.<br />Stick straight on the grill and turn when they get grill marks. they cook quickly.<br />we did them on medium high heat.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6NbUs4zi6EsJwXS39uOofvMvP45w5LzNppJaoIk8jdZXbSdAKYURjes7B8iVbBU2iyXe3pQiPqX2JUNiNWV2SgPIwS21bxwxWhxL8kzezYqAQjcM_GsUamZicEbm11e1e0IGH/s1600/steak3.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6NbUs4zi6EsJwXS39uOofvMvP45w5LzNppJaoIk8jdZXbSdAKYURjes7B8iVbBU2iyXe3pQiPqX2JUNiNWV2SgPIwS21bxwxWhxL8kzezYqAQjcM_GsUamZicEbm11e1e0IGH/s400/steak3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5586716337045700338" border="0" /></a>the grill master at work. I love to claim my Irish side, which is small, but its still there!! :) I didn't do much this year, busy with life i guess.<br />We did make our traditional corned Beef and Cabbage with Irish Soda bread, yummy!! Kason LOVED the corned beef and gobbled it up as fast as we could give it to him!!<br />For dinner I wanted to do something fun for Kason.<br />So we made RAINBOW PANCAKES!<br />they turned out awesome!!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg08B5NNGI0ME7kO-189-1_fO9eSWYqFnITncCrwQ0jIJ6rnhceFXdZ9RRytDTy48MxdhpkJfX-tnI5Y6C4cJnvLX98XRa-CwZxbcXhEjmhqrgv6NoJOe5vFTYDVPdztg4DU-mU/s1600/pancakes4.jpg"><img style="display: block; I'm pretty good at hats and have made many, mostly for Kason :) Well with a new one on the way, and it being a girl, i was excited to make tiny girly hats! :) Don't worry Kason will not be left out! :)<br /><br />First off is Madison's blessing hat. If she fits it (we sure hope she does) she will be wearing the blessing dress my Mom and myself were blessed in. I wanted to make a hat to go with the outfit and i saw this pattern and knew it would be perfect. It has a timeless look to me that is classic and would be perfect.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMZC9cOoKEZilw_OtCqYArIqBdCIc8XMNzpAlZ0uOnxZa8008Va6hvWQ5wa9RIALR406_mv9kDyfk2vF88c_aeD3FUpxC4Bv3dL314q9hq_fC8mnW15lGtG8E-HDTuNXD3PkpF/s1600/blessinghat1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMZC9cOoKEZilw_OtCqYArIqBdCIc8XMNzpAlZ0uOnxZa8008Va6hvWQ5wa9RIALR406_mv9kDyfk2vF88c_aeD3FUpxC4Bv3dL314q9hq_fC8mnW15lGtG8E-HDTuNXD3PkpF/s400/blessinghat1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584827067678961698" border="0" /></a>Isn't it beautiful? I'm debating whether or not to make a small flower for it.. i might not because its for her blessing... but we will see.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBXU0I36LO6S_T_Odd7SO1THYn1nl3jzpiCcDLiHQc5utrSR69Iq3p93wNsQT5cjO-gzHDloD6tnLuyi3C5VEKoiLgsH2hOUq8NWbMtE6bgNsOXLtuoYs72oIaOr1cs3MX2e4O/s1600/blessinghat2.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBXU0I36LO6S_T_Odd7SO1THYn1nl3jzpiCcDLiHQc5utrSR69Iq3p93wNsQT5cjO-gzHDloD6tnLuyi3C5VEKoiLgsH2hOUq8NWbMtE6bgNsOXLtuoYs72oIaOr1cs3MX2e4O/s400/blessinghat2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584827069434639346" border="0" /></a>I love the pattern, a shell pattern. One i have always admired and finally just did it, and it was WAY easy!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-WAco8fDhwQQdDH3iwS7-P49iJ7XVDStvNVAWPYTLUBpyr1dMaj0-Xf1FwnRrKCNC9BFPoasr5xAyke96iveShMEilo-0BWpdEJcV846O6wRloGWOSxmzTTlalP1EhJJsPoNe/s1600/blessinghat3.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-WAco8fDhwQQdDH3iwS7-P49iJ7XVDStvNVAWPYTLUBpyr1dMaj0-Xf1FwnRrKCNC9BFPoasr5xAyke96iveShMEilo-0BWpdEJcV846O6wRloGWOSxmzTTlalP1EhJJsPoNe/s400/blessinghat3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584827076794495042" border="0" /></a>With my hand in it so you can kinda get an idea of what it would be like on a head :) It's made out of a cotton yarn, one of my favorites to work with. i LOVE the way it turned out, and best part. It took be 45 minutes for the entire hat! :) thats a winner for me!<br /><br />Next up is a blue hat. Its the same pattern as the blessing hat, but its a tad smaller so i'm not sure if its going to fit... its no secret that Logan and I have big heads and we have lovingly passed that on the Kason.. I'm sure that little Maddie will have our head size as well. It's also made of cotton and has a bit of a stretch to it so it just may fit!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9im0VGqkdeR3S2WqEacTqSeogXeCUiS54FXZcg7ojLI1GnvxrcEfjPhunnZAAP9PUKMKGfjrsXLo_uSA6YPs4uoO87jRmtyLnqHIqMEEj7kpkpGh7txziIGa3A9NnxuQbuupg/s1600/bluehat1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9im0VGqkdeR3S2WqEacTqSeogXeCUiS54FXZcg7ojLI1GnvxrcEfjPhunnZAAP9PUKMKGfjrsXLo_uSA6YPs4uoO87jRmtyLnqHIqMEEj7kpkpGh7txziIGa3A9NnxuQbuupg/s400/bluehat1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584827081087155298" border="0" /></a>This one will have a white and light pink flower added to it with a button as its middle.. can't wait to add that!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiY5lfaxGjUeg_2ftZAafKrlhxvwkmPInpUNZx4BSef6dawygJMJ_pEsh_98Nwc7IbQMfRyt7696vGuEmf9Hef9Vezrmge_-V8LS1xOZ8meVz_FoL1o8oCl2ueWldJVLzReuBks/s1600/bluehat2.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiY5lfaxGjUeg_2ftZAafKrlhxvwkmPInpUNZx4BSef6dawygJMJ_pEsh_98Nwc7IbQMfRyt7696vGuEmf9Hef9Vezrmge_-V8LS1xOZ8meVz_FoL1o8oCl2ueWldJVLzReuBks/s400/bluehat2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584827084032518034" border="0" /></a><br />just a close picture of the pattern.. i can't get enough of it :)<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWyIQguQkgEJLTCcvxRx2b61LXMq9B03glAeha8w_aDvyKNhMOnqPHeTeS8IQ2N8jVt3O13YmnzmQZlhrF6S69FZOtIf3Q8jJus_VruBQkmgV5rZECwJuqjiBoLd_Mi19Qc5e7/s1600/bluehat3.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWyIQguQkgEJLTCcvxRx2b61LXMq9B03glAeha8w_aDvyKNhMOnqPHeTeS8IQ2N8jVt3O13YmnzmQZlhrF6S69FZOtIf3Q8jJus_VruBQkmgV5rZECwJuqjiBoLd_Mi19Qc5e7/s400/bluehat3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584828353273066082" border="0" /></a>and again a picture with my hand in it. I did a border on the bottom of this one. I like the border but i'm glad that i left the blessing hat without a straight border, it looks more vintage that way to me :)<br /><br />Another project i did was a hoodie. I was so excited to tackle this one that i did it before we knew we were having a girl. Good thing Maddie is a girl because this hoodie would not be boyish enough to put on a boy baby :)<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx4SPLxCV_JirFzLR0-fFaVrDYgrkbOXWlw-M65Ktw9XLnEPjU5Sqwk419lp7Ef6OD25ACZMjoF2tWnXwHEcUPlwbmDRFtmv7U7yZ1YEgxI0rZ45T9mzdY1MqMfI57RqzNj9MY/s1600/jacket1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx4SPLxCV_JirFzLR0-fFaVrDYgrkbOXWlw-M65Ktw9XLnEPjU5Sqwk419lp7Ef6OD25ACZMjoF2tWnXwHEcUPlwbmDRFtmv7U7yZ1YEgxI0rZ45T9mzdY1MqMfI57RqzNj9MY/s400/jacket1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584828359064547058" border="0" /></a>It was an easy pattern from a book i got from the library. I may make the hood a bit larger. Madison will be born in Late July early August, BUT we are going camping for labor day.. she will be like 4 weeks!! So i'm stocking up on making warm hats and thick hoodies for her :) This is a bit big, about a 3 month size, but it will be just fine for her.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmI59Hx6CP23IIgRGvATSwG2sikUme5L2ePJ-_Y-rWkKt2StWpL95L_95gkNUjkJSEPvKdYSBFF4HzVQni3J0tgrGJF8fb3fOygh-cfgr8DBpt-N4cl1sBCLFZN-Lg55Aumn1g/s1600/jacket2.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmI59Hx6CP23IIgRGvATSwG2sikUme5L2ePJ-_Y-rWkKt2StWpL95L_95gkNUjkJSEPvKdYSBFF4HzVQni3J0tgrGJF8fb3fOygh-cfgr8DBpt-N4cl1sBCLFZN-Lg55Aumn1g/s400/jacket2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584828358157781090" border="0" /></a>I LOVE the tye-dye yarn! it was perfect for this hoodie!!<br /><br />And the last project for today is a blanket. I will admit i started this in late October but stopped just before Thanksgiving. Well i got sick right about that time and found out we were expecting!! So i lost all modivation while i had bad morning sickness... BUT FINALLY FINISHED IT! It was to be a blanket for myself, but once i got pregnant i decided that if we were having a girl i would end it at a baby size blanket and have it for her. Well a few days after finding out that Maddie was indeed a girl i finished it up, and its perfect! i love it so so much!!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHnbnDYd-NZLmw5PmdOza27GUVtyAaJaH5sCY9KfCJLQTHwz4r1pI1yEXCsz5LoKFgeNE4o1z_fGQ36UpY5G_suJN1vy4EdCLbizsQGmoXJvPPCS501EiXksMhRLgcwswxKqlu/s1600/maddiesblanket1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHnbnDYd-NZLmw5PmdOza27GUVtyAaJaH5sCY9KfCJLQTHwz4r1pI1yEXCsz5LoKFgeNE4o1z_fGQ36UpY5G_suJN1vy4EdCLbizsQGmoXJvPPCS501EiXksMhRLgcwswxKqlu/s400/maddiesblanket1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584828362664533522" border="0" /></a>It's laying over a cushion, its about 36in x36in give or take a bit. i love that its not classic soft baby colors, but bold and bright. a nice mix up in all the soft blankets she has or will get.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-5frK91YavpamClGQtKXqE_MhTQbKDaaQBbrNHYAWVMQpN8UzP8QIMgzvmcQo_spYTqaFXyL9LzBHL85bXxRFBiWsNnTj14rf2W3FeljL0e4fm2sEU20MgHfrgUWmjfabUyno/s1600/maddiesblanket2.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-5frK91YavpamClGQtKXqE_MhTQbKDaaQBbrNHYAWVMQpN8UzP8QIMgzvmcQo_spYTqaFXyL9LzBHL85bXxRFBiWsNnTj14rf2W3FeljL0e4fm2sEU20MgHfrgUWmjfabUyno/s400/maddiesblanket2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584828368728209122" border="0" /></a>it's made up granny hexagons and its perfect!! i love this blanket. i now want to make a larger one for Kason's toddler bed, of course in boy colors :) we will see when that happens!<br /><br />well thats alot for now. Everything is identical to the original carseat so nothing is unsafe for the baby. Same kind of material, thickness, etc. etc. etc. the belt position is the same and everything so its 100% fine for baby!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJ9P-jmthUno8x2f54ggFaxxvrSdxk0MxoXq-gbcGev-LO29o6QNdT4OkN5gX2eLIS1a4dMSxQKjlCjwNkaE1f3ahbz1lyz3GvCqj8F9lBbA9cVawzqlWJBpzDrEhsTP5bami-/s1600/1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJ9P-jmthUno8x2f54ggFaxxvrSdxk0MxoXq-gbcGev-LO29o6QNdT4OkN5gX2eLIS1a4dMSxQKjlCjwNkaE1f3ahbz1lyz3GvCqj8F9lBbA9cVawzqlWJBpzDrEhsTP5bami-/s400/1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5582877711140934066" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFy76d1gqUlEzxKzieoBBrgS98OmOPQF0EcK0C_RJ8gitiKuiEtTtjT-h8RAqswOKWQIOTXmUrNCidBkBy_0ccsNNpG4hYPf6Mf0o4VkniNwn5pJIGdE51SOGbnjYJk1Y_WVDW/s1600/sideview.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFy76d1gqUlEzxKzieoBBrgS98OmOPQF0EcK0C_RJ8gitiKuiEtTtjT-h8RAqswOKWQIOTXmUrNCidBkBy_0ccsNNpG4hYPf6Mf0o4VkniNwn5pJIGdE51SOGbnjYJk1Y_WVDW/s400/sideview.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5582877685893328658" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzkjvsACuxpfBflTvDq4XIL63gPSwItCdxI6oBa6Wyi0WXQHLMvwJpAoBgqTROQOIjyd4nOLoUg8ybuqtd8bCefzr4VZzdk8BYq5RBDf9fY0kGMNW3aUwv6ZDZz056YfshL1PT/s1600/topview.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzkjvsACuxpfBflTvDq4XIL63gPSwItCdxI6oBa6Wyi0WXQHLMvwJpAoBgqTROQOIjyd4nOLoUg8ybuqtd8bCefzr4VZzdk8BYq5RBDf9fY0kGMNW3aUwv6ZDZz056YfshL1PT/s400/topview.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5582877694943754754" border="0" /></a>super cute huh? I had names picked out in when i was in highschool for my future children. Of course a few of them have changed as i got older. I picked new names once i got married. Logan is a stickler for names. He is tough and shoots down almost EVERYTHING! makes things tough! Well with Kason we had his name picked out before we started trying for kids. So we knew as soon as we had his ultrasound and they said he was a boy we knew that moment he was Kason and from that moment on was called Kason. We even had his middle name picked, which is Logan's middle name.<br />This time around was harder. Logan and I agreed that i wouldn't talk names until we became pregnant. It was a tough 2 years not discussing names for me lol.<br />So the day i took that lucky pregnancy test i started talking names, it drove Logan nuts. It shot them all down, i mean hundreds really, and he said that he would know when the right one came, just like with Kason. Well one day we were driving home from Shelton and he brought up names.. it surprised me! He said he had a girl name he really liked and finally he told me after begging for a minute lol<br />He told me and it was Perfect!! I actually started calling the baby the name from the start, even though we didnt know if it was a girl yet. Kason also would call the baby the name as well. So as soon as we found out on Wednesday it was a girl the baby has been called the name since, instead of IT (which i hate) or the baby.<br />Are you anxious yet and wanting to know the name finally? Some already know.<br />But the name we have lovingly picked for our little girl is:<br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 102, 102);font-size:180%;" >Madison</span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size:100%;"> we already agreed that we will most likely call her <span style="font-size:180%;"><span style="color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">MADDIE</span></span></span></span><span style="font-size:100%;"> most of the time. Doesn't it sound cute with Kason? Kason and Maddie? :) we like it!<br />we are still trying to agree on a middle name, so we will see on that one.. :)<br /></span></span>Laura McGeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10962767449429257201noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12511088.post-31230021043977576352011-03-11T09:15:00.002-08:002011-03-11T09:20:17.186-08:00it's a GIRL!Thats right everyone!! We are expecting a little girl in August! so excited!!<br />I think the one most excited is Kason. He has called the baby a girl from the day we found out i was pregnant. He tells everyone the baby is a girl and talks about a sister.<br />On wednesday we went to the ultrasound appointment and i was excited that Kason and Logan were both able to come :) Everything is normal and perfect!!<br />When the tech started to look for gender she said "lets see if there are boy parts or girl parts" and Kason got all mad and yelled (we had to get after him lol) at her and said "NO BOY PARTS ITS A GIRL!" it was hilarious! good thing the tech found girl parts!! from the very start of the pregnancy i just kept thinking girl and it got stronger as i got further along.. i'm glad i was right! It will be so fun to have a little girl in the house, help even things out! lolLaura McGeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10962767449429257201noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12511088.post-80204571351523494682011-01-20T18:12:00.002-08:002011-01-20T18:15:26.652-08:00Expanding our Family!!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTR64PMsB3uh7RQvaVkJsav5DvgKCcz0pFWf4YOPOxMAt93Avr6bQakD82kXW3wbkNDV2gx-54mhx5PjYjecHTdAD7BRWq7ALzpw87hTb6TOuVIlbNbHuHlKkimjFJr3ryMYzY/s1600/12weeks1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTR64PMsB3uh7RQvaVkJsav5DvgKCcz0pFWf4YOPOxMAt93Avr6bQakD82kXW3wbkNDV2gx-54mhx5PjYjecHTdAD7BRWq7ALzpw87hTb6TOuVIlbNbHuHlKkimjFJr3ryMYzY/s400/12weeks1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5564456508085722274" border="0" /></a>THAT'S RIGHT!!!! I'M PREGNANT! Finally after two years of trying to add on we are so excited to announce that we are expecting a little bundle of joy about august 3!! I am 12 weeks along and have had a rough first three months. I have become a hermit and stayed in our home most the time. Kason is super excited and loves to kiss my tummy and snuggle with the baby!! :) No names or anything yet, we are stumped. We will find out the gender just about my birthday time in March! best present!! :) So far everything looks great and a nice strong heart beat!Laura McGeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10962767449429257201noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12511088.post-44620804312382961562010-11-15T09:45:00.003-08:002010-11-15T09:53:18.086-08:00Stud<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjb9ZM92JEGocQRlwNBscGeHuK74l6K5bZN-d94qka6_cvr4RPDjTfbQicPncmZUgqG_cRY7FuWVXlGp_JSnYerj-E84zXKubUmiTOZZD0e6JgspQZ6GBAgfjvaLgl6DrZF761l/s1600/kason6.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 266px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjb9ZM92JEGocQRlwNBscGeHuK74l6K5bZN-d94qka6_cvr4RPDjTfbQicPncmZUgqG_cRY7FuWVXlGp_JSnYerj-E84zXKubUmiTOZZD0e6JgspQZ6GBAgfjvaLgl6DrZF761l/s400/kason6.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5539835062657101026" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdLr0axNjmuWeJ5F5dxa8iYKz5xMibSEgfnyf2YRl5WRkxilOZY4torMZsGP9Zr33JVHxfL4m0P7_9UkI_7q1yDVPKdt-vlgcPpy8sJ18QhNInAVDffs8e7rgdzWxr8Ts_QsL4/s1600/kason4.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 266px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdLr0axNjmuWeJ5F5dxa8iYKz5xMibSEgfnyf2YRl5WRkxilOZY4torMZsGP9Zr33JVHxfL4m0P7_9UkI_7q1yDVPKdt-vlgcPpy8sJ18QhNInAVDffs8e7rgdzWxr8Ts_QsL4/s400/kason4.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5539835054053960370" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw2hJxxDINwedfdvLfSvMJT9AbhfPPfHcAuQON0XXTzOnvzu6RazDTfWs4iSbtX4Wg04Jrw31hAdUceG4_PYGwwom-s6FhnWut8tTx7qc3tT7K0r6Z2eEE6ZWp0gNPCCklUJui/s1600/kason3.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw2hJxxDINwedfdvLfSvMJT9AbhfPPfHcAuQON0XXTzOnvzu6RazDTfWs4iSbtX4Wg04Jrw31hAdUceG4_PYGwwom-s6FhnWut8tTx7qc3tT7K0r6Z2eEE6ZWp0gNPCCklUJui/s400/kason3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5539835042085648562" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtsPKjcymEa0b3l19PnrFM4VDFV60FWeBg2_fYXtrhdVaZKUMWEu1mv6Ngq-2J8jgBgHEIRTcaeBddEUyNxbC8Nsvnj1a4mXq4og1Wa7CnN1b3imBRB6w-xw1PLVgm37QkoOvj/s1600/kason2.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtsPKjcymEa0b3l19PnrFM4VDFV60FWeBg2_fYXtrhdVaZKUMWEu1mv6Ngq-2J8jgBgHEIRTcaeBddEUyNxbC8Nsvnj1a4mXq4og1Wa7CnN1b3imBRB6w-xw1PLVgm37QkoOvj/s400/kason2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5539835032245333682" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidRkqAM8PmyjpxLD1BklJWSXz5QhoydeJJqO4EOxKVEUST2sU9OQtKwG6LOAEGykQZEv7XoXCvE6QYGtN7F_6dkpq3LuuuRhzmLiYHgZnZJrfGRP11S8_UG3jLprFepRRpmu6F/s1600/kason1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 266px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidRkqAM8PmyjpxLD1BklJWSXz5QhoydeJJqO4EOxKVEUST2sU9OQtKwG6LOAEGykQZEv7XoXCvE6QYGtN7F_6dkpq3LuuuRhzmLiYHgZnZJrfGRP11S8_UG3jLprFepRRpmu6F/s400/kason1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5539835023773444978" border="0" /></a><br />Sometimes Ross is worth the horrible parking, long and endless lines, and misplaced items when you find this adorable and very handsome outfit for your son. It was a beautiful day, nice and sunny!! It wasn't cold either. We had been having such a nice fall. We went to a small farm in Silverdale. It was perfect for what we wanted, but next year i think we may go to a larger one with more stuff to do.<br />It was so cute. As we got up to the pumpkins Kason knew exactly what he wanted. He jumped out of the wagon and ran up to the small one and said "my pumpkin!" it was like he had seen it in a vision and knew that was THE one! haha. On the way to the patch he had told me he wanted a small one.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguO3hkqc84tdWzTxOrbbGE7MB5BVN1_IwoNu9tmGQ9RxM_DkOEPpwa7bZ4-Rr4bkOsOwBY4_hH4BCaVDMC2VKNpF9CAvRpVj0UVcNR_B87yi-ziuW5iWV4SXsK-pbU_cYXAwBt/s1600/pumpkinpatch1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguO3hkqc84tdWzTxOrbbGE7MB5BVN1_IwoNu9tmGQ9RxM_DkOEPpwa7bZ4-Rr4bkOsOwBY4_hH4BCaVDMC2VKNpF9CAvRpVj0UVcNR_B87yi-ziuW5iWV4SXsK-pbU_cYXAwBt/s400/pumpkinpatch1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535415595545142274" border="0" /></a>He didn't even want to look at any other pumpkin<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2D1DiCjHluREPvUMLGYhcHY7A44ic2nZj_Agh_vyNKrKWzJgsc6TnpiAqNOrggYE0EdusT8zujNNivsRAThPhryZ0Wg0nNtHZcb3A4kox-cJLztwi5-kzww3rYcpcrPBmBCEC/s1600/pumpkinpatch2.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2D1DiCjHluREPvUMLGYhcHY7A44ic2nZj_Agh_vyNKrKWzJgsc6TnpiAqNOrggYE0EdusT8zujNNivsRAThPhryZ0Wg0nNtHZcb3A4kox-cJLztwi5-kzww3rYcpcrPBmBCEC/s400/pumpkinpatch2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535415601312695106" border="0" /></a>he carried it back to the wagon all by himself! he was so proud<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNEEjnWuBbknaENaCvY5n9_amYI9HGf9CF2aDaLCXQyFexxhuXLw7IRx8O5X5xCN80sZzdnDfk0KLts6hHCdNbJrc-9n1DZYfCrMI2bzb9SiBo7LvDC9xugSiJLHleqak9uDE1/s1600/pumpkinpatch3.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNEEjnWuBbknaENaCvY5n9_amYI9HGf9CF2aDaLCXQyFexxhuXLw7IRx8O5X5xCN80sZzdnDfk0KLts6hHCdNbJrc-9n1DZYfCrMI2bzb9SiBo7LvDC9xugSiJLHleqak9uDE1/s400/pumpkinpatch3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535415605129657218" border="0" /></a>i tried to get his pictures sitting on the pumpkins but he kept giving me this look! it's cute though<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVSOTBEQFydYrDoYqrCu8YzBZYDdL8NszUyO57EvFPz0Ttge7Vuyb30ihiUj_VYHiVHx1IJwqCMI-wOmqnntSPs-dccF16DHoNxWGdelr92OxXmMjPuntWmZLjpLGoM2oHu2vm/s1600/pumpkinpatch5.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVSOTBEQFydYrDoYqrCu8YzBZYDdL8NszUyO57EvFPz0Ttge7Vuyb30ihiUj_VYHiVHx1IJwqCMI-wOmqnntSPs-dccF16DHoNxWGdelr92OxXmMjPuntWmZLjpLGoM2oHu2vm/s400/pumpkinpatch5.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535415610328194914" border="0" /></a>i LOVE this picture!!!<br /><br />After we went to the pumpkin patch we went to Poulsbo to see my grandparents. He has never done the whole 101 loop and i hadn't done it in such a long time that i thought it would be a lot of fun for us to do it! I am happy that we did it in the fall, the colors were just amazing!<br />We got up early Sunday morning and started going north to Poulsbo then over the floating bridge then to hwy 101.<br />We got to Sequim Bay state park and found a day use area and started breakfast. We brought our camp stove along and yummy food. We made a great breakfast and i am lucky enough to have a phone on which we were able to broadcast conference from.<br />So as we were enjoying a Delicious breakfast watching the sun break open through the thick gray clouds, birds flying over the water just as the choir started singing. It was truly amazing. We packed up after we were full and continued to drive and listen to conference. we stopped here and there when we wanted and just enjoyed the beauty around us, listened to amazing words of conference, and made lasting memories as a family. Here are a bunch of pictures...<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_lCIyq7ALGiZqXYfrvtHcheLkkWXKdAnd49FZfnWoy410NSbhFwpUZIvsN2ZxLZzY7KVWngW0K7cMbVyHaef7YAX4g4Czk9r34_nSLOaj9Mvn1X98ajIIXnVNSBmasEwit3aq/s1600/floatingbridge.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_lCIyq7ALGiZqXYfrvtHcheLkkWXKdAnd49FZfnWoy410NSbhFwpUZIvsN2ZxLZzY7KVWngW0K7cMbVyHaef7YAX4g4Czk9r34_nSLOaj9Mvn1X98ajIIXnVNSBmasEwit3aq/s400/floatingbridge.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535388587699292690" border="0" /></a>driving over the floating bridge... the weather was looking pretty grim...<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYAOR2Bqj7xfXGzwKxxK4ZnvhdIcSgcZEeJSnnvt7yl3KNGL2KwFn-yDn7eavuODT4U0-j4qCBIEF6t5iuE6c0FI2KY2BMWye3oZHx5FFfVASde-taywcC_IbDpzCw6EGUhIAR/s1600/view1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYAOR2Bqj7xfXGzwKxxK4ZnvhdIcSgcZEeJSnnvt7yl3KNGL2KwFn-yDn7eavuODT4U0-j4qCBIEF6t5iuE6c0FI2KY2BMWye3oZHx5FFfVASde-taywcC_IbDpzCw6EGUhIAR/s400/view1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535389287329962210" border="0" /></a>our view as we listened to the choir sing and ate our breakfast. it was amazing!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCP-YlRgFnoa0QMeUNV9x1E3Wj9gAwKSi72Of_AvNUETPvyQm32ShdzZEqtWhggaIYHKI7rqhkjsBo_KE0WMfaeu_VrCHJ4X-pyLBEZAN6K2bzL3ZLnzGgTYP5WQ2HX1viz5RV/s1600/kason1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCP-YlRgFnoa0QMeUNV9x1E3Wj9gAwKSi72Of_AvNUETPvyQm32ShdzZEqtWhggaIYHKI7rqhkjsBo_KE0WMfaeu_VrCHJ4X-pyLBEZAN6K2bzL3ZLnzGgTYP5WQ2HX1viz5RV/s400/kason1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535388820152142418" border="0" /></a>we pulled Kason straight out of bed and put him in his car seat when we left.. we left so early we didn't want to wake him until we had too.. so he played and ate breakfast in jammies.. reminded me of camping :)<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwqeifzK91UAi9_3fs7mZc8kxmWDMoUCsATFlp6nlub0pB-I0tolxivz6WXg104ATcneldrJOCugRqgbr8WOfLaWNxYp8Z9TUHuV2i2Q2qHVwyh8QCJFwcUqFcrBM9hEz3dmR_/s1600/loganme1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwqeifzK91UAi9_3fs7mZc8kxmWDMoUCsATFlp6nlub0pB-I0tolxivz6WXg104ATcneldrJOCugRqgbr8WOfLaWNxYp8Z9TUHuV2i2Q2qHVwyh8QCJFwcUqFcrBM9hEz3dmR_/s400/loganme1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535389065868233826" border="0" /></a>i LOVE this picture of Logan and I. we don't have many of just us.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiye_WvRBtSPCT-cIY0NlghCiJT_EqtM3tO9G1nUq0dQG6UstiCxlctIM9dP3II_cLfzRK6F79W2oxV6YlB3BjTobihWsz-68HtLhTt0zsRd6HNOATjBo8ypz0-BePibY4kCqJ/s1600/familypic1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiye_WvRBtSPCT-cIY0NlghCiJT_EqtM3tO9G1nUq0dQG6UstiCxlctIM9dP3II_cLfzRK6F79W2oxV6YlB3BjTobihWsz-68HtLhTt0zsRd6HNOATjBo8ypz0-BePibY4kCqJ/s400/familypic1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535388577206651122" border="0" /></a>The three musketeers! <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_8DsevkEpPMEtctZrAR0OjMElQGuuxtrqyBWh05a2cOHi1skXcJsWeDudhtN7rvz1y3jRDkQj229kmCR32NyJEC3biKfbXUPhyLKi5VvrgmRMIwQGwnr93g9n-Bx2ajq2-kw9/s1600/kason2.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_8DsevkEpPMEtctZrAR0OjMElQGuuxtrqyBWh05a2cOHi1skXcJsWeDudhtN7rvz1y3jRDkQj229kmCR32NyJEC3biKfbXUPhyLKi5VvrgmRMIwQGwnr93g9n-Bx2ajq2-kw9/s400/kason2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535388823866108482" border="0" /></a>he sacked out after getting a belly full of yummy breakfast.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxcqDWL4aI4GyMtTp6QhLDYYuaX6gVLm0duM5ScM2GsqXp7vZ9LgLDNOPSDp9QIGSS4eoDgDwOlvX4AMCqnNiWbX2pZ3sZ9gziPnaB2CChDff4UEWF06L1lLGkqtqtTVq79UTJ/s1600/lake1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxcqDWL4aI4GyMtTp6QhLDYYuaX6gVLm0duM5ScM2GsqXp7vZ9LgLDNOPSDp9QIGSS4eoDgDwOlvX4AMCqnNiWbX2pZ3sZ9gziPnaB2CChDff4UEWF06L1lLGkqtqtTVq79UTJ/s400/lake1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5535388850228955458" border="0" /></a>cresent lake. I loved it. I couldn't believe it was October and it was that nice. The tide was suppose to be all the way out according to tide charts but it wasn't a very low low tide.. oh well it was beautiful still. We did manage to see some sea life but not much. Alot of the tide pools were completely covered.<br />Kason LOVES the beach and had so much fun making sand castles!!<br />We then drove to Matlock and visited with Logan's family. Then we came home. It was a great day and a lot of fun! I took WAY more pictures then these but i didn't think you want to see hundreds of pictures!! :)<br />We want to do the loop again but take a few days to do it next time. There was a lot we skipped so we could make it home before midnight!!Laura McGeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10962767449429257201noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12511088.post-66970164484578954612010-10-27T20:00:00.002-07:002010-10-27T20:03:49.818-07:00labor of love<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2yDhz2Szl-cS_M4sx94YE0yZZwrkF9FOWteM0tXK6x2cosHCZ5mJakSHDOBjcUThyphenhyphenCiH4hmBQfmHvJpSKASX8G7LkI2EonQcxPS6IBOe6xdTHs3kxa1NHY0lrZ8Wfhj3e-amW/s1600/yourfirstyear_sml.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2yDhz2Szl-cS_M4sx94YE0yZZwrkF9FOWteM0tXK6x2cosHCZ5mJakSHDOBjcUThyphenhyphenCiH4hmBQfmHvJpSKASX8G7LkI2EonQcxPS6IBOe6xdTHs3kxa1NHY0lrZ8Wfhj3e-amW/s400/yourfirstyear_sml.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532926849319654050" border="0" /></a>i love scrapbooking, mostly digital. i love how things just come together for me and it's fast and easy for me. i just really love to do it.. but this layout, well this layout was hard for me. it was a lot of layers and different things to go together and it defiantly was a labor of love to get it done. now i want to do it for each year until now.. lol we will see.Laura McGeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10962767449429257201noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12511088.post-89078928547615649132010-10-27T11:25:00.007-07:002010-10-27T12:20:29.672-07:00Kason's Birthday!!Kason turned 3 this year!! 3!! where has this time gone too?<br />His birthday this year fell on a Tuesday and so Daddy decided to take the day off and we would spend the day doing stuff all for Kason.<br />First off let me tell you Kason LOVES to go to Seattle. He loves to ride the bus's and the ferry and the monorail. He loves the seagulls on the ferry and everything about it.<br />So when we asked him what he wanted to do on his birthday he thought for a second then excitedly said "SEATTLE!" He makes me smile!!<br />He has been the to Seattle science center a few times and LOVES it so we were going to take him there, but on his birthday they were in the middle of exhibit changes and i couldn't see paying the same price for not as much stuff to do... (im cheap i know) so we looked into the Seattle Childrens Museum. This place looked great online and the prices were totally reasonable so away we went!!<br />We started the day by waking him up to birthday waffles! complete with syrup and candles! We then let him play in his new bounce house he got from friends for his birthday. He loved it! We ran and caught the bus right on time and then waited a while for the ferry. We walked around and saw fish and cool fountains and i could tell Logan really enjoyed just watching Kason explore. We got on the ferry and Kason had a blast showing daddy everything he loved about the ferry. We even got some seagulls to eat goldfish crackers from our hands!! well let me tell you I'm a big ol' chicken and Logan got them to eat from his hands. We would also throw them and they would catch the crackers in mid air! pretty cool.<br />We caught a bus to the westlake mall and caught the monorail over to the seattle center. Kason loves the monorail and it was cool this time because one of the drivers told us interesting facts as we rode. Then we went to the Childrens museum.<br />This place is AMAZING let me tell you. It's HUGE and has so much for all ages and so many different rooms. The one thing that i absolutely loved was that everything was spaced nicely and was not crammed.<br />I love the museum in Olympia for kids but their space at the moment is so tight it's hard to move around with there are a lot of kids... so i was defiantly pleased with the space!<br />Of course one of my favorite rooms was the craft room. They had everything you can think of for the kids to create. Even a large window in a stand up mirror frame they could paint then spray off with water.. it was fun! Kason loved the markers and clay. There are also many different areas where the kids can pretend to be working in a restaurant. Kason LOVED that and would serve us over and over!!<br />Other rooms included: a Clifford, The big red dog room, a shopping market complete with tiny carts and food, a building room where you can build houses for the kids, an outdoors area complete with a tent, tunnels and caves, an international area with many smaller rooms and houses showing how people around the world live, a invention type room, reading area, water tables, fish tank, fire truck and bus to drive, a theater for dressing up and perform.<br />Over all this place was amazing and we will be returning.<br />After we played all day we jumped on a bus and headed down to the waterfront. We ate at red robin and Kason enjoyed his free birthday meal and ice cream. We grabbed some fries from the mcdonalds right by the ferry terminal and fed the seagulls again on the way home. Kason LOVED it and it was a great end to an amazing birthday for the little man!!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWAHeucrGIOArQL7PfQwZwG2E92A2vu4JyNyZaa0Qha7ro-1371KENhwjoc7MMiR93yGAfooeKOt0bAs4yXyoASWjRwyj55bJbCT17lv5_EZB4dhI3SE0Wf13rYu41lyjfnAn7/s1600/waffles1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWAHeucrGIOArQL7PfQwZwG2E92A2vu4JyNyZaa0Qha7ro-1371KENhwjoc7MMiR93yGAfooeKOt0bAs4yXyoASWjRwyj55bJbCT17lv5_EZB4dhI3SE0Wf13rYu41lyjfnAn7/s400/waffles1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532801612500670290" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_iGsr8OFCMnfXo0T3SHgLzXwVKPbx7exeFq8f5UKaMYeECE3XsMAU3p1y88GA3YhH-8VcvIikHs3YzYtSEiVQJbhEctksek0iBYYaCpIpgTNC2MXiIfEgr0c-szf2uViLTnLS/s1600/waffles2.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_iGsr8OFCMnfXo0T3SHgLzXwVKPbx7exeFq8f5UKaMYeECE3XsMAU3p1y88GA3YhH-8VcvIikHs3YzYtSEiVQJbhEctksek0iBYYaCpIpgTNC2MXiIfEgr0c-szf2uViLTnLS/s400/waffles2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532801910284657362" border="0" /></a>i love this photo of him, so cute!! and he gobbled up his waffles!!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFBhyphenhyphenk07DKtRkuH87CPgLYoIJfUtv5aFXyxEPGJos2j3JNaBcrt6Ey4z6OOiXHVHl9A-mEzr6AUyDgHqtjv-htxx5Twl4_i0SL6SYmy-dt36uaDbAw0K_hDB2cCFdl3RGeMvKF/s1600/kasonpainting1.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFBhyphenhyphenk07DKtRkuH87CPgLYoIJfUtv5aFXyxEPGJos2j3JNaBcrt6Ey4z6OOiXHVHl9A-mEzr6AUyDgHqtjv-htxx5Twl4_i0SL6SYmy-dt36uaDbAw0K_hDB2cCFdl3RGeMvKF/s400/kasonpainting1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532805162960013394" border="0" /></a>panting. he loves to paint!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLbaIgpaH7k9YNWE5koH-QncV-OnNV4nePl3xfQp79nemw3dEYIXDa9k3_u3oOVotd7LVw6u3CCgeFcbQJpAGAj_apZwwThNmg7d4UjBe17EOBieNHDGH12dfDxO40OMiEQ-Fg/s1600/kasonshopping2.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLbaIgpaH7k9YNWE5koH-QncV-OnNV4nePl3xfQp79nemw3dEYIXDa9k3_u3oOVotd7LVw6u3CCgeFcbQJpAGAj_apZwwThNmg7d4UjBe17EOBieNHDGH12dfDxO40OMiEQ-Fg/s400/kasonshopping2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532805154265584738" border="0" /></a>showing daddy how it's done! :)<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiA8RIzMe38c47EOOfg917XHLQKPFblV0pAd8kFecu2vUQj5TSSbDxIJu8wi9uGikyim1mKj5fsH1NCyKkuLv7D8Ek7XjI5EJpI8FFna88tDbXSiMvGCNHwrBtWt1qdKCnTQtbB/s1600/kasonshopping.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiA8RIzMe38c47EOOfg917XHLQKPFblV0pAd8kFecu2vUQj5TSSbDxIJu8wi9uGikyim1mKj5fsH1NCyKkuLv7D8Ek7XjI5EJpI8FFna88tDbXSiMvGCNHwrBtWt1qdKCnTQtbB/s400/kasonshopping.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532805146640497202" border="0" /></a>okay so this picture is very blurry but i thought it was funny that it looks like kason is totally checking out the little girl! I took my nice camera to the party and took pictures, but now i cannot for the life of me find the cord to my card reader to get my pictures into my computer. so once we get a bit of cash i will be purchasing a new one.<br /><br />Kason loves to read. His favorites are Dr. Seuss books. He loves the movie "the cat in the hat" and we would spend at least 30minutes each night reading Dr. Seuss books until he fell asleep happy as can be. So when i asked him what kind of party he would like to have for his birthday he told me cat in the hat. I was excited because i knew that would lead to great decorations and fun cupcakes! Then a few days later he asked for a "docer Seuss" party instead.. YAY. he totally made my day there. I LOVE Dr. Seuss and had SO many ideas floating in my head. I asked him one day if he wanted cake or cupcakes, he chose cupcakes, i love this kid!! I made 3 different kinds from three of his favorite books, Green eggs and ham cupcakes, one fish two fish cupcakes, and thing 1 and thing 2 cupcakes from cat in the hat. His cupcake had a large cat in the had made out of gum paste. i had so MUCH FUN making all the cupcakes and using fondant and gum paste. I made two large flag type banners made from broken Dr. Seuss books. We also had burgers and hot dogs, chips, Carmel apples, chocolate dipped pretzels, and pink lemonade! it was a great party held at a local park and we ended up with AMAZING weather!! we lucked out so much! A ton of family and friends came and Kason had a blast!!<br />I will defiantly post pictures i promise!!Laura McGeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10962767449429257201noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12511088.post-12102733581254144642010-10-27T11:07:00.002-07:002010-10-27T11:18:52.410-07:00september catch up.I feel like that every time i am posting on here i am saying sorry for it being such a long time... oh well i guess life has been so busy and we have been enjoying as much of it as we can, that there hasn't much time left over for blogging.<br /><br />Summer was great for us. When we moved to Bremerton in July i made it my goal to spend as much time outside as possible and take advantage of all the things the city has to offer during the summer. We were gone almost everyday from the house and it kept us busy and meeting new people. We really enjoyed this summer and i feel that we did use our time wisely and had an amazing summer.<br />As always summer comes to a close with labor day weekend. My side of the family always goes camping at Dosiwallups in Brinnon, Wa. Sadly the only pictures i took that weekend were of an Elk on our way home. sad.<br />It was a great weekend full of family, playing, getting dirty, a bit of rain, swimming, and talking around the campfire. it was a great year once again. Kason really enjoyed himself this year. He is becoming such a chatter box and wanting to do everything his big cousins do. He went swimming in the freezing water too and loved jumping on a long into a shallower area where mommy was. he loved throwing rocks and getting dirty. He is 100% boy.<br />September came in with beautiful weather and we kept busy with play dates and going to parks as much as we could to enjoy the nice fall we were having.<br />Towards the end of September we went to the Puyallup fair! again did i bring a camera? no. i don' t know whats wrong with me!<br />We let kason go on 5 rides and he loved all of them! he loves speed and did great. He picked the small roller coaster, airplanes, quads, giant slide, and driving cars. We spoiled him. We ate yummy fair food, drank chocolate milk, looked at quilts, went out to dinner, played games and had a great time with my side of the family.<br />September was great. Kason's birthday and party will be posted separate.Laura McGeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10962767449429257201noreply@blogger.com0
