Stud
Sometimes Ross is worth the horrible parking, long and endless lines, and misplaced items when you find this adorable and very handsome outfit for your son. Right now they have a great selection of dressy boy outfits for 9.99-10.99!! pants, shirt, tie, and vest! seriously can't beat that!! The top picture is my absolute favorite of him and that will be printed and hung in our new home, whenever we find it! :)

Pumpkin Patch
We finally made it to the pumpkin patch on the 20th of October. It was a beautiful day, nice and sunny!! It wasn't cold either. We had been having such a nice fall. We went to a small farm in Silverdale. It was perfect for what we wanted, but next year i think we may go to a larger one with more stuff to do.
It was so cute. As we got up to the pumpkins Kason knew exactly what he wanted. He jumped out of the wagon and ran up to the small one and said "my pumpkin!" it was like he had seen it in a vision and knew that was THE one! haha. On the way to the patch he had told me he wanted a small one.He didn't even want to look at any other pumpkinhe carried it back to the wagon all by himself! he was so proudi tried to get his pictures sitting on the pumpkins but he kept giving me this look! it's cute though
i LOVE this picture!!!
After we went to the pumpkin patch we went to Poulsbo to see my grandparents. My Grandpa Martinson and Kason have a special connection and i love how much they love each other. Kason loves to ride on the tractor with Grandpa Martinson and i know Grandpa Martinson loves to give him rides!!It was so cute.. my grandpa told Kason they would go around the driveway loop once.. well as they came around grandpa told me Kason wanted to do one more... and then again one more.. I'm pretty sure it was Grandpa that wanted to keep going around!! He enjoys it just as much as Kason! i love that. My grandpa Martinson is young at heart and is amazing!
They have a porch swing that kason has mastered to get it to swing by himself.. he runs into it and then crawls up as it swings! it's cute.. this is his cheesy grin!
This is Kason's decorated pumpkin!! We used Mr. Potato head parts instead of carving!! it was so fun.. he told me where he wanted something and i used a dowel and punched in a hole and he put what part he wanted into the hole.. this is his finished masterpiece.. the funny thing is he calls it "papa cine", papa cline. :)The artist with his masterpiece!

101 loop
I love that we live in one of the most beautiful places in the USA, well in my opinion! :)
During conference weekend i decided to surprise logan with a mini road trip. He has never done the whole 101 loop and i hadn't done it in such a long time that i thought it would be a lot of fun for us to do it! I am happy that we did it in the fall, the colors were just amazing!
We got up early Sunday morning and started going north to Poulsbo then over the floating bridge then to hwy 101.
We got to Sequim Bay state park and found a day use area and started breakfast. We brought our camp stove along and yummy food. We made a great breakfast and i am lucky enough to have a phone on which we were able to broadcast conference from.
So as we were enjoying a Delicious breakfast watching the sun break open through the thick gray clouds, birds flying over the water just as the choir started singing. It was truly amazing. We packed up after we were full and continued to drive and listen to conference. we stopped here and there when we wanted and just enjoyed the beauty around us, listened to amazing words of conference, and made lasting memories as a family. Here are a bunch of pictures...
driving over the floating bridge... the weather was looking pretty grim...our view as we listened to the choir sing and ate our breakfast. it was amazing!we pulled Kason straight out of bed and put him in his car seat when we left.. we left so early we didn't want to wake him until we had too.. so he played and ate breakfast in jammies.. reminded me of camping :)i LOVE this picture of Logan and I. we don't have many of just us.The three musketeers! he sacked out after getting a belly full of yummy breakfast.cresent lake. It's between Port Angeles and Forks. The water is really clear and you can see down to the bottom in the shallower areas. It was really cloudy here and a heavy thick mist covered us.growing up in Washington i have always loved how the fog would settle in between the valleys of thick trees. it looks so beautiful to me.We then got to Forks. Or shall i say Twilight central? Logan and i were cracking up the entire time. I have read and love all the Twilight books, but i thought it was funny how everything in Forks is now Twilight.. EVERYTHING...it's a blurry picture.. but that sign says "TWLIGHT FIREWOOD" seriously people!?!?!
We also found it funny that it was BEAUTIFUL and SUNNY in Forks, which is one of the wettest places in the NW and that Sequim, one of the sunniest places was rainy and yucky!!
We drove to the HOH Rain forest. We drove to the actually entrance then turned around. It was beautiful!
We then went to Ruby Beach. This place is BEAUTIFUL! We listened to the last few Conference talks as we walked the beach. It was amazing. It was just amazingly beautiful at the beach, it was a bit windy but it wasn't cold! I loved it. I couldn't believe it was October and it was that nice. The tide was suppose to be all the way out according to tide charts but it wasn't a very low low tide.. oh well it was beautiful still. We did manage to see some sea life but not much. Alot of the tide pools were completely covered.
Kason LOVES the beach and had so much fun making sand castles!!
We then drove to Matlock and visited with Logan's family. Then we came home. It was a great day and a lot of fun! I took WAY more pictures then these but i didn't think you want to see hundreds of pictures!! :)
We want to do the loop again but take a few days to do it next time. There was a lot we skipped so we could make it home before midnight!!

labor of love
i love scrapbooking, mostly digital. i love how things just come together for me and it's fast and easy for me. i just really love to do it.. but this layout, well this layout was hard for me. it was a lot of layers and different things to go together and it defiantly was a labor of love to get it done. now i want to do it for each year until now.. lol we will see.
Kason's Birthday!!
Kason turned 3 this year!! 3!! where has this time gone too?
His birthday this year fell on a Tuesday and so Daddy decided to take the day off and we would spend the day doing stuff all for Kason.
First off let me tell you Kason LOVES to go to Seattle. He loves to ride the bus's and the ferry and the monorail. He loves the seagulls on the ferry and everything about it.
So when we asked him what he wanted to do on his birthday he thought for a second then excitedly said "SEATTLE!" He makes me smile!!
He has been the to Seattle science center a few times and LOVES it so we were going to take him there, but on his birthday they were in the middle of exhibit changes and i couldn't see paying the same price for not as much stuff to do... (im cheap i know) so we looked into the Seattle Childrens Museum. This place looked great online and the prices were totally reasonable so away we went!!
We started the day by waking him up to birthday waffles! complete with syrup and candles! We then let him play in his new bounce house he got from friends for his birthday. He loved it! We ran and caught the bus right on time and then waited a while for the ferry. We walked around and saw fish and cool fountains and i could tell Logan really enjoyed just watching Kason explore. We got on the ferry and Kason had a blast showing daddy everything he loved about the ferry. We even got some seagulls to eat goldfish crackers from our hands!! well let me tell you I'm a big ol' chicken and Logan got them to eat from his hands. We would also throw them and they would catch the crackers in mid air! pretty cool.
We caught a bus to the westlake mall and caught the monorail over to the seattle center. Kason loves the monorail and it was cool this time because one of the drivers told us interesting facts as we rode. Then we went to the Childrens museum.
This place is AMAZING let me tell you. It's HUGE and has so much for all ages and so many different rooms. The one thing that i absolutely loved was that everything was spaced nicely and was not crammed.
I love the museum in Olympia for kids but their space at the moment is so tight it's hard to move around with there are a lot of kids... so i was defiantly pleased with the space!
Of course one of my favorite rooms was the craft room. They had everything you can think of for the kids to create. Even a large window in a stand up mirror frame they could paint then spray off with water.. it was fun! Kason loved the markers and clay. There are also many different areas where the kids can pretend to be working in a restaurant. Kason LOVED that and would serve us over and over!!
Other rooms included: a Clifford, The big red dog room, a shopping market complete with tiny carts and food, a building room where you can build houses for the kids, an outdoors area complete with a tent, tunnels and caves, an international area with many smaller rooms and houses showing how people around the world live, a invention type room, reading area, water tables, fish tank, fire truck and bus to drive, a theater for dressing up and perform.
Over all this place was amazing and we will be returning.
After we played all day we jumped on a bus and headed down to the waterfront. We ate at red robin and Kason enjoyed his free birthday meal and ice cream. We grabbed some fries from the mcdonalds right by the ferry terminal and fed the seagulls again on the way home. Kason LOVED it and it was a great end to an amazing birthday for the little man!!i love this photo of him, so cute!! and he gobbled up his waffles!!
panting. he loves to paint!
showing daddy how it's done! :)okay so this picture is very blurry but i thought it was funny that it looks like kason is totally checking out the little girl! (yes i blurred the little girls face more, i just wouldn't want my child on some random person's blog so i blurred her face in respect of that)
They had this tunnel thing, it reminded me of the ape caves. Logan bet i could make it through and i didn't think i could. i told him i'd get icecream if i got through.. surprisingly the tunnel was larger then i thought and yes i got ice cream later on that day! lol
The lunch special from Kason that day was: fried hamburgers fish sticks mangos and fries together.. yum.
i promise he was happy to be there and dressed up! lol bad picture. Our little fire fighter
playing in the water table with the boats!
