First Hair Cut!!

Kason finally got his first hair cut! It was long, in his eyes and over his ears. He needed it bad. So i finally did it.
I wanted to give him his first hair cut, i know silly but i wanted to. so i did. We went over to my mom's so she could help me. It was hard because he kept moving all around and everything but i did get it done and it turned out pretty good. It looks way better now that is has already grown out a big and not so even. lol i know that sound weird but to me it looked like a took a ruler and cut across his forehead. lolI love this picture. I look nervous as can be and Kason looks scared like "GRANDMA DON'T LET HER!"All done! see not too bad! and it opens up his big beautiful eyes!
i will never give him another haircut though i will go get it done at a kid place! lol

seriously?

seriously is this really summer? i dont know about where you are but here its rainy and in the 60's. this is Kason and myself yesterday morning. yup thats right, us in hoodies and warm thick clothes. UG what happened to shorts, capris, and short sleve shirts? i really hope this isn't going to be like this the rest of the summer. We had a cold June and most of July hot hot hot and now August, the hottest month for us and we get this? come one people!

10 months!!!

Can you believe it? This kiddo is already 10MONTHS old today! yikes!! seriously were did the time go? only two more months until he is ONE YEAR OLD! so sad. I love how energetic he is, happy go lucky, go with the flow, loves to plull up on this and cruise the furniture, eats anything he can get in his mouth, loves table food and crawls around like a speed demon, but i do miss my tiny newborn with the newborn smell, the crossed eyes, the small little coes, always wanting to be held and cuddled, seems so long ago huh.

And this is Kason giving me a big ol' smile. He now has three bottom teeth and two top teeth that are going to pop through any minute now i swear.

anywho i have pictures at home i need to upload, Kason got his first hair cut! it was in his eyes and hanging WAY over his little ears. Also we went camping with my family. Unforuntantly logan had to work so it was just Kason and I. We had a blast and Kason loved to crawl around in the grass, eat pancakes and foil dinners and hang out and get attention! I didn't bring my camera yet again, but oh well.

my sweet sweet happy boy...

we have truely lucked out. Kason is the most happiest baby EVER! look at him!! Seriously he is awesome. He eats well, almost anything we give him (besides mashed peas!) is perfectly content playing by himself, loves to cuddle and give wide open mouth kisses, and one of the best things, SLEEPS perfectly. wether its naps or night time he will go right down in the playpen/crib and go to sleep without any fuss. Everytime Kason goes to sleep at my parents when im there late on Sunday nights my dad always comments on how well he goes to sleep, he can't believe it.
i love it
Logan and i both fear that since we lucked out so much with Kason that our next kid will be crazy, wild, insane, and pretty much a wild child that babysitters will fear and charge extra for! lol... hope not!

A while ago i bought Crayola kids washable paint to let Kason finger paint with. Lastnight i finally broke out the paint and paper and let him go to town. At first he was sure about it. His looks was like "Mom? this isn't food" i thought he would try to eat it, but he did really well! he started smearing it all around and loved to scrap his fingernails accross the paper-making lines. he even picked it up and tried to die his hair! lol it was pretty funny.Hmm... should i eat ????

Also i think that Kason is going to be a lefty. For a while not i have thought that, but with this painting his left hand totally took over. He got his right hand only dirty at the very begining, but painted with his left hand the right of the time. He also grabbs everything with his left WAY more than his right. who knows?

good morning!!

This morning is so beautiful outside, that it just is impossible to have a bad morning! lol.

I even forgot my purse at home and had to turn around on the way to work and get it, but i didnt mind!!

Anywho.. i got this shirt at Wal-mart a bit ago for Kason and its so stinkin cute i had to take a picture of it for you all to see.

His binky clip cut off part of it. It says "Frogs and Snails and puppy dog tails". I havn't heard this phrase that way. i always heard it this way- "snips and snails and puppy dog tails" but its still cute.

Also as i was taking pictures Ethan (the 5 year old i nanny) decided he wanted to read to Kason. He is such a great helper. He loves playing with Kason, reading to him, and even feeding him when im so busy and Kason is screaming his head off for another bite. I am really lucky to be able to watch Ethan!

boys best friend

so i have been wanting to post about this for a while, just really haven't gotten the right pictures, until yesterday afternoon.
This is a true story about a boy and his dog, Dannon.
Lol those two are so cute together!! Dannon usually does not like kids poking at her, and climbing all over her. She wont bite them or anything but she will usually give out a low growl. But with Kason she let's him climb all over her most of the time, or she just walks away. He loved to poke at her ears and try to eat her. Recently Dannon has discovered that Kason eats snacks, besides his baby food or fruit puffs (which she refuses to eat! lol).
Yesterday i gave Kason a bag of crackers, just to see what he would do with them. He loved the bag, and then discovered what was inside, FOOD! he loved crackers!! so of course away he goes at eating his cracker, then Dannon smells something, crawls out from beneath her comfy blankets and pillows and faithfully stands at his side, waiting for a fallen cracker.FOOD? as soon as this kid sees food he is all for it!
yumma!!! and Dannon is sniffing around for some on the floor.
OOPS!! one fell, and they both just stare at it.

Who will get it first???
Dannon. Poor Kason was so mad at her for taking the mushy baby drooled cracker. As you can see Dannon is all blurry in the back because she is running away fast!!

No worries, Kason did get more crackers!
On another note. Kason got in TWO teeth a few weeks ago, and i totally spaced on writing it on here. Finally my baby has some teeth. I didn't care whether he got them earlier or later than most kiddo's, but it has been hard finding foods he can mush with his gums. Kason loves table food and and chunky babyfood. none of that smooth stuff anymore. this kid loves to chew!!
and i love this picture because i was trying to get a shot of his teeth, but he wouldn't open up enough. but its still a super cute picture of Kason.

9 months?

Kason will be 9 months on Saturday... weird.
he got weighed and measured today.
19lbs 5oz (10lbs since birth!)
28inches (7.5inches since birth)
He is doing very well. right on track.
he is 25% for height 50% weight and 75% for head size (its logan's fault! lol)
we did find out though he has a double ear infection. weird. he hasn't been really fussy or anything.
his asthma is still ongoing. he gets his meds twice a day now. but she did say that he sounds alot better than usual. YAY!
