THATS RIGHT!!! only 18 more days until i fly home to Washington for TWO WEEKS!! awesome! im so excited to family again, to see little Brinnon and all of my neices and nephews! and to be around TREES. sorry that i have neglected my blog so much lately, Logan and I have been SO busy with work, his school, and life. Tonight im watching a girl from my child care center, Hannah, and im super excited lol... she 9years old and dont tell anyone else, but shes prolly my favorite in my class... yes i know i shouldnt have favorites but it happens... anywho but shes spending the night and so in the morning im going to take her pictures for a surprise Christmas gift to her mom. pretty cool... shes excited.. well anywho i better be on my way... see ya.

one of my most favorite movies of all time is Ladder 49. I love this movie so much but it is one of the most sadest movies i have ever seen.. i bawl i mean really really really bawl when i watch this movie... we watched it tonight.. first time in over a year and i bawled for about 30 minutes... even after the movie was over! i do suggest seeing this movie though even though its sad its still one of the best movies! i love it! The reason its been so long since we watched it is because i bawl like this everytime... i balwed at the theater with my mom and fernanda, and then when i got the movie for my 19th birthday from my mom THANK YOU MOM... we all watched it as a family.. and there i was bawling and sniffling and balwing a whole lot more.. everyone was like geez laura! lol i dont know why it makes me cry so much ive seen sad movies before but this one i just lose it lol.. anywho well hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! love you all 24 more days!!

HUGE and BEAUTIFUL! i really wanted to swim! lol you all know me... im a fish! :) anywho well not a whole lot going on... got off work on time today (5pm) which was nice i walked home, beautiful outside.. crispy leaves, blue skys, cool air... yum! when i got home i lite my beautiful smelly candle (birthday cake) and put in our glade freshener... its so yummy! its called festive vanilla but smells just like birthday cake as well... we have our home teachers coming over, hopefully it will be so good smelling in here lol :) i can smell it right now and im so excited :) anywho... hope you all are having a great day... oh yea only 26 more days until i fly into Seattle! im so stinkin excited!!

a short hello...

i really dont have much time but i have let my blog slide so much! this last weekend logan and i went down to vegas! his dad and stepmom where down there and we hung out with them the entire weekend and monday.. it was awesome to be around family again! i miss everyone so much! vegas was awesome as well... totally in love with newyork newyork and paris! so awesome!! monday we went to the hoover dam and that thing is amazing! so HUGE! crazy to think they did that way back when with not nearly as much technology we have today. well anywho i know this is SUPER short but i have to get to work... have a good day and i will try to load more pictures tonight.

Diana and I went to Roberts crafts tonight.. they do a Girls night while the Priesthood confrence session is going on. it wasnt what we thought.. kinda lame but i was able to pick up some things i have been dreaming about for a while and finally i made my self buy them.
i have been wanting these beauitful flowers for some time.. they are so tiny and colorful! perfect for my art journal and scrapbook pages... cant wait to use them!

I have been looking for a good white pen for a while now and tonight i found one that i would try out and see if i like it. Right when i came home i wrote on black paper and i LOVE it! it works great! cant wait to use to for some good old doodling!!

WINTER? where did fall go? is it coming back?? this is what we woke up to this morning... on SEPTEMBER 16TH!

CRAZY!!! its not alot but its something to make this little snowlover happy! i woke up and had to pee, and I walked into the living room to get my chapstick and I looked out the window to see if it was sunny and I got a surprise!! i get to wear my favorite long sleeve shirt, comfy jeans, and my wonderful leather converses... oh so lovin this! i liked summer but 105 degrees gets old after a week. lol i cant wait for my bright green snowboard jacket, getting my board waxed, going up to the mountians and hiking up before the season opens... hot chocolate, layers of heavy blankets at night, sweartshirts, snowmans, sledding, homemade scarfs and beanies. mmmmm... so excited!

we will remember.

my thing is i want to know how many people would have remembered if it wasnt all over the news this weekend? i feel as if our country is forgetting that day, we need to remember it and cherish that day for it brought all of us together, stronger, united as one.

welcome BRINNON ADAM CLINE!!!! im so excited to annouce the long awaited arival of my nephew!!!... so many prayers, tears, and miracles! Im so proud and happy for Adam and Carrie... they are already fantastic parents and will always be! i did this layout tonight with a picture from my sisters blog... family.grendell.net hope you dont mind Amy. i love this picture! anywho today Logan and I chilled hung out, and went to the Greater Avenue's street fair... its like giant farmers market.. in all honesty it really felt like i was in Washington downtown... it really made me feel like at home, which i needed. anywho well love you!

a blah day

do you ever have days you just fee like "blah" like there erally isnt a name for it.. you not happy but not sad.. your not mad or extreamly excited? i dont know how to explain it... im tired, but im awake and ready to work, but i dont want to work but i dont want to stay at home... i want to play with the kids at work but id also like to just sit and do lesson plans and clean up my classroom.... ug!

my prayers go out to Steve Irwin's family... if you have not heard the famous "CROC HUNTER" from Austrilla Steve Irwin died this morning by a freak accident... he was in the ocean in shallow water on the reef doing a documentry on the oceans deadlest creaters when a stingray struck him with its barbed tail right in Steve's heart... it is said he died instantly but they quickly pulled him on the boat and did CPR on him for 30 minutes until they got to land and pernouced his death... he left behind two children, daughter Bindie (8) and son Bob (almost 3) and his Wife...

Tragic....

my prayers to his family and friends... to his children to know he's in a better place, and his wife for comfort and peace.

exciting news...

we bought Logan's plane ticket home today for thanksgiving!! we are way excited.. my sister bought mine back in June and Logan and I didnt have the money back then to buy his... so we waited and waited and forgot lol and then i remembered the other day and rememebered! and lucky us there is the 79 dollar each way goin on at southwest... so we got his tickets for 178 after tax and everything!! he does have to fly home two days early, but its cheaper and we still get to be together.

another note we saw cars the other night at the dollar theater SO CUTE!! i cant wait to get it.. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! it was awesome!! anywho well im going to get going gotta clean and sleep :) see ya

I love Utah's summer storms... they are beautiful and strange to me... in washington during the summer if it storms, its cold, wet, ugly and ug... but here its hot, muggy, and beautiful... the skys are always amazing to look at, and i was lucky enough it get these two shots while i was at a photoshoot on Sunday.

yesterday i had a photoshoot for a friend. we went up to bountiful and got some really cool shots.... but im kinda disapointed... the light went fast so i didnt get as many as i wanted though, but i did get some great ones... here are my favorite.

OH YAY!

i never thought i would be so happy to walk to work in the rain! yesterday morning logan and i woke up and i was freezing!! it was so nice to be cold for a change! it was starting to rain and then by the time i got to work, it started to pour, buckets!! it was crazy! knocked out power a few blocks away... lightening and everything... but it stayed cooled through out the whole day... i dont think it ever got up to 85.. OH YAY!! this morning it was so cold that logan and to get blanket around 6am. thats so weird because usually during the winter he could sleep with a light blanket at night and be fine... i hope this is a sign that things are cooling down... today i am wear pants! yes pants! crazy!! yay!! lol well have to get going!!

okay so im a huge LAMO! sorry!! my mom has been asking me to take pictures of the flowers i recieved, which thank you to you all. I never did... lame yes i know.. its just so hot here, and i kept forgetting and with the heat the flowers didnt last too long, yes i gave them plenty of water :)! lol.. anywho this is a picture from the website that my mom, sister, and carrie sent me flowers from. it looks exactly like the ones i recieved. i promise lol. Anywho we are doing good... im not sure what we are doing today... probably cleaning lol.. i let that slip this past week.. oops :) anywho well im going to go. have a wonderful weekend!
