Faith...

I was thinking baout htis the other day, and i dont know.. i guess i want to put more of my toughts into this website, afterall its through my eyes right? My faith, my religion, my belief... all meaning the same thing.. I am a christian, i am a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. I am a "mormon" as people have called us over the years. And i'm proud of who i am and of my family and i of the choices i have made in my life. Some people might be ashamed or embarasse of their relgion (example, catholic, or muslim) but i want to shout it out that i dont care what other people think, i dont want to sound stuck up right now, its not what im directing towards, but i live my life knowing that i am not ashamed of who i am. I'm Laura McGee... clumsy, loud, funny, talented, curios, oblivios, loving, spunky, and just ME...i guess what im trying to say is that no matter what you are or who you are or where you live.. always be proud of who you are

:) I'm proud that you're my sister and that you are true to yourself and what you believe.....popular or not.

Believing in yourself is something great, and something that so many take for granted. But to say that Catholics and Muslims are embarassed about their religion is a little rude. People have their own faith, and whether or not you might agree with it, you still need to respect it.

I am a proud Catholic, and it irritates me that my religion people might be embarassed about - without even mentioning how many people might be embarrassed about being LDS.

I'm not sure it's so great to be proud, because as you know from reading the Book of Mormon, pride is a sin that led to the destruction of many peoples.

I think you should substitute "gratitude" for "pride".

You know, if you want to.
