beautiful day

so i know i already posted day, two posts in one day SHOCKER! i know right?! lol

Today started out beautiful. so i took the kiddos outside while Kason slept. Ethan rode his bike around and addie walked around and colored with chalk on the sidewalks with me. here are some pictures. finally i got some spring pictures of my own.

Also yesterday was kason's 5 MONTH MARK! seriously already?? holy cow! so here are a couple shots of him, and even a video! :) enjoy

spring fever

i have never wanted spring to come this bad EVER! seriously spring is nice but usually i want summer to come. I guess this has been a wet and long winter!!! We have daffidols that just bloomed by our front door, trees are getting greener, and the birds are chirping every morning. i love it. here are some pictures i found on google. i cant wait to get my own.

awww man...

Last night i got a call from Rae. She told immediatly told me that Kevin had been shot in the arm, a through and through. My heart dropped.

For those who dont know here is a bit of background on Rae. Rae is my bestfriend since 7th grade. She married Kevin Last march and two weeks later he was shipped off to Iraq. (he is in the army) he has already been injured once last year, but nothing extreamly horriable, but still come on!

So anywho... he is being sent to Germany about 2 this afternoon i think and He will have surgery there. The bullet shattered his bone. right above the elbow, but no worries he says his tattoo is okay! lol!! he will be home soon, hopefully here to Madigan.

sickos

last week logan came down with something that effected his tummy and made him visit the bathroom often. saturday it got better but then that night it was horriable again, and it got worse lastnight and this morning. i have NO idea whats going on with him. Then kason got something yesterday. he had two poopy diapers, and not the smooshy kind either. ug! and if you know all about kason and his issues with pooping you know he hardly ever poops more than once a week and when he does its the complete oposite of what i just discribed. so hopefully it was just his laxitives finally working and he is not getting sick, but who knows. oh man! i hope im lucky for once and not get sick this time!!

schedule

So Kason really hasnt had a set schedule during the day. At night it has been pretty normal routine. We get home, daddy plays with him i make dinner. We eat. He plays then its jammie time, story time, bedtime whenever we go to bed. Pretty basic and simple. Well yesterday i started a schedule during the day, mostly for his naps. he napped but nothing regular so i figured it was time to start him on that. so here it goes:

5-6am- Get a bottle

7:20am- get dressed and leave with mommy to work

8:30am- Breakfast usually applesauce

10:ooam- nap time

12:30pm- Lunch time

a bottle sometime between lunch and nap #2

2:00pm- Nap time

4:30pm-(about)-Bottle

6:00pm- Dinner

8:30pm- Get ready for bed which includes- bottle, story time, jammies

9:00pm- sleepy time in OWN bed!

Yesterday went SO well! he took two 2hour naps! and he barely made it to bed he was so tired!! He even slept in his own bed ALL NIGHT LONG!! see he got in this habit of coming in and out of our bed. it was bad we have a king size and it didnt bother us, but i figured that he needs to be in his own room. so there he is! he slept from 9:30pm (thats when he fell asleep) until 5am this morning!! i was actually surprised because he usually wakes up in the middle of the night crying only for his binky. i give it to him and he goes right back to sleep. well he cried lastnight i got up gave him the binky and he was still mad. i changed his diaper, still mad. i put him in his crib to go make a bottle (im thinking its like 2am) and im wondering why he is so mad and why he is already wanting a bottle. i look over and see our radio clock in the hallway and see that its 5AM!!! kason made it through the whole night!! Also new development. he holds his bottles now ALL BY HIM SELF :) he drinks the whole thing by him self now. so we just give it to him at 5am and go back to sleep! yay!

i offically love schedules!! today so far so good!!! :)

and just because i love baby feet and i LOVE kason's here is a picture of him lastweek taking a naked diaper nap on the couch.

kason loves to be naked (with a diaper of course) if he is fussy all i have to do is strip him down to the diaper and he is just fine! :) lol

talker

Lately Kason has been talking ALOT. he has always made noises but this last month all he does is gab! the other day he woke us up by just talking. he went on for almost an hour of just making noises and laughing and smiling. My camera doesnt have video so i havnt been able to capture it yet, until today. I totally spaced out that Clara's camera has video. so here are a couple clips of Kason talking.

I can't wait for the weekend. The weather has been wonderful this whole week! i hope it keeps it up for the weekend!! Recap of us enjoying the weather this week:

Monday-we went quading out at Val and Larry's. There were no clouds in the sky and you could see forever!! the mountains were amazing!!
Tuesday-i took the kids outside and we spent hours out there running around. Addie thinks its funny to escape into the road, haha not!
Wednesday- Ethan tricked me into going to the park. Totally worth it. It was so nice out!
Thursday- Logan and I used our grill again and BBQ'd hamburgers! OH YUMMY!! they turned out amazing! he put onion soup mix in the meat. it was so moist and delicious! and i made my favorite fries! perfect meal.
Friday- I am taking the kids out to a park, if they wake up in time :) thank goodness for naps! :)

I cant wait for spring and summer! im itching to garden!! found plants i wanna plant! cant wait!!

so a few times my mom has offered to do our laundry, but i usually just say "nah its okay" but then my mom asked the other if she could our laundry and well i knew that i had one shirt left that was clean and logan was getting low on clean clothes and well Kason has so many clothes i dont think we will ever run out with him. So i said okay and well i dont think she knew what she was getting into. i dont think either of kept track of how many loads, but im sure there was about 12. yeah seriously 12!! I think she likes to do the laundry, crazy lady! :) but a HUGE thanks to my mom! i dont know if i would have ever caught up if it wasnt for her! i cant wait until we can get washer/dryer. soon, maybe! lol

So i was looking at Kason's pictures and i realized that he has gotten alot of hair this past month. just all of a sudden it started to grow again. here is a picture from before christmas and then a picture from a couple weeks ago.This is from right before Christmas

Also he has found toys and loves them!! so we have some on his car seat and then also he has tons scattered around the house. he is getting SO big!!

the day after Kason was born Rae told us she would take him for v-day and they would be eachothers date. So tonight we are off to eat and see a movie while rae chills with Kason at home :) i sure hope he is good!! Lol

cracked me up

so i got an email this afternoon from Clara (my boss) saying that she sent me the following to just insure i knew the guidlines and rules of watching her children everyday. i couldnt stop laughing for a while! totally made my day!

we are yogurt people...

logan and i both LOVE yogurt. We are always searching for it on sale because its starting to get expensive. Well the other day Albertsons had it for like 39cents each and if you spend 10dollars you get a couple bucks off so it was like 32cents each! so of course we went and stocked up. no worries on it going bad, we have already made a dent in our supply! lol

Kason had his 4 month check up yesterday
he is in the
30 percentile for weight

75 percentile for head (big brain people! lol)
dr. says he is doing fantastic!

So i finally uploaded pictures of Kason eating peas. It was pretty funny. He made the same faces that his daddy makes when he eats peas! lol Just like daddy i guess. After about 10 bites he started to like them and stop making horriable gagging faces! lol

Our happy boy!! This was yesterday his offical 4 month mark! how cute is he? and he is a big boy in his highchair! insane!!

I gave him a ball to see if he would play with it. i didnt think he would, but after a few minutes Logan grabbed the camera, shoved it in my hands and said "look!"
He would hit it with his hands, sending it accross the tray and then laugh. then he would try to do it again!
He would try to pick it up.
Intense in play! i can already tell our little boy is going to love to have fun!!!

hope everyone is having a great day. no snow. which was nice to drive to work without having to deal with all the people on the road who have no idea what they are doing. thats prolly why they close school for an inch of snow here! lol

Snow Day

This morning as i am slowly getting ready for work i get a text message from Clara saying "ethan doesnt have school today, just to let you know" so im trying to run through my head thinking which holiday it is, and i realize it isnt one. so i text back saying "okay, why?" and i get the text back just saying "snow" i walk to Kason's room and look out the window, snow everywhere! i love snow, but this morning i was tired, lazy and already running late, why snow? lol. The roads weren't horriable, but they were a bit icy. I took the kids out this morning to play in the snow, they loved it. Kason was all bundled up in his snow clothes and in the stroller so i could keep chasing after miss Addie. here is a couple pictures.

also today is Kason's 4 MONTH MARK!!!! wow 4 months already?? INSANE!

how cute is kason??? he looked like the kid from the Christmas Story all bundled up.

when it started to melt away. weather man calls for more tonight, we will see.

the biggest loser continues...

We have offically completed 3 full weeks!!! half way there! yay!! there have been many times i wanted to just give up, but im glad i havn't. I have lost 9 pounds total! yay go me!!! and all together we have all lost 38 pounds i think... as my sister said "thats a Maegan!" dang we are good!! im only 3 points from being in first!! Hopefully this week i can kick butt! lol.
well not too much else going on. Kason is yet again SICK! he was just getting over his congestion crap, brochulatis (spelling that totally wrong) and then yesterday he got the Flu. GREAT! There are days i think of putting him in a bubble for the rest of his life. He could be Kason the Bubble Boy! Hows that sound? yeah i know, i wont, thats no life to live.
Anywho.. we went to his doctors today to make sure it was anything worse because the nurse suggested it might be. No worries its not, but while we where there i talked to our doctor, who we love, about starting Kason on food. He is always eyeing our food, even has reached for it a few times. Making eating dinner with him on my lap alot harder now. Anywho we get to start him on VEGGIES!! yay! our little man is getting big!! the reason we are starting on Veggies and not ceral is because Kason has issues with pooping. He is severly constapated all the time. He is on a daily laxativ that helps, but he still has issues. A while back i tried a bit of Oatmeal in his formula to help him sleep, it did help him sleep but he got super constapated on just a little bit while he was on his laxativ!!! so she said to go ahead and just do the Veggies, start with green and work into orange, then do some fruits. NO BANANA'S since he has issues already. So hopefully he likes it and will start getting fuller and loving it.
Well not much else to say. No pictures sorry. i need to scan some scrap layouts and stuff from his baby books. will try to do that sooner or later.

life in general

Time has really been going by quick. Kason will be four months on the 28th. seriously where has the time gone? It seems that i am so wrapped up in wordly things like movies, getting the house clean, scrapbooking, errands, etc. etc. that i miss all Kason's little moments. But really i dont. i am always there with him. Holding cuddeling, kissin, huggin, and encouraging him to grow and explore his little world. It just seems that time is going by so quickly that i am missing out on this with him, but in all honesty and when i sit and think about everything im not. Im just being a paranoid mommy.

things have been busy around here. Logan has started school and loves it, but hates all the homework. Seriously they give tons, but thats college i guess. I was always told that you should have an hour of homework a night from each class. Well he has 3 classes, but they sure are giving more than one hour of homework. He has essay's regularly from two classes and math everynight. He;s doing great though. makes time for his homework and Kason and myself. great guy!

Kason is yet again sick. i seriously think he has been NOT been sick maybe 3 weeks total since he was born. he just keeps getting nasty colds. Dude i have no idea why. we steralize his binky's, bottles, etc. maybe he is just a kid who gets sick alot. hopefully this will build up his immune system for when he gets older.

Im doing good on the biggest loser. lost 5lbs last week and a couple more this week, but as of this morning i am at the same weight as when i lost the 5lbs... dont know.. been eating the same and excerising.. oh well.

THE BIGGEST LOSER!!!

yup thats right everyone. I wanna be the biggest loser.

We all know or atleast heard of the show "biggest loser" right? the one where overweight people try to win money by being the biggest loser-meaning losing the most weight but also having a healthy new way of living.
Well my sister Amy, told us all about the biggest loser, but doing it with family. So After a few weeks of talking about it, getting the rules, and pigging out, we have offically started the biggest loser as of this morning.

This is good. I need to lose weight, but not only that but gain a better life style. I wanna be able to keep up with Kason when he starts running around. I really just want to be healthy.

The biggest loser is not just about loosing weight. its also about eating better, getting sleep, exercising, and drinking water.

Now we all had to step on the scale this morning to get our offical weight. and our goal is to loose 7% of our totaly body weight. My goal looks good. I believe i can do this. I want to do this. I want to be healthy, but also i wanna win the money too.

Oh yah, theres money!! lol we are all putting in 10bucks each. the one at the end with the most points wins!!

I really would like the money to buy new clothes that fit!! :)

Now the funny thing... why is this image so scarey?

so why is that so scary? Standing there not wanting to look down to see how much you weigh. At least for me it sucks. oh well something to get over and hopefully the next few times i look down the numbers will be lower and lower!

hey everyone!! hope you are all doing well!! :)

Christmas was great!! Kason made out like a bandit and Logan and I got tons of things we are very excited and grateful for!

Not too much going on here. Tonight we are heading over to Chris and Kelly's house for a party and spending the night at Logan's brother's house then logan is off to play football in the morning. Kason will be bundled up and snug in his carseat as i will be in my jacket reading my book.

Speaking about books... my sister has been wanting me to read the Twilight Series for quiet some time and finally i finished my other book so i was able to read it. The first book is AMAZING!!! i read it in two days!! almost 500 pages!!! i LOVE IT!! i went out and bought the second one- New Moon, and the third one Eclispe. im already addicted!! :)

sorry it has been FOREVER!!! life has just gotten super BUSY!!

not too much going on. Logan starts school in the very start of Janurary and is excited. He is happy to be starting a journey that will bring us a great future.

Kason is doing well. He is growing so much!! he is starting to laugh and loves to smile all the time. he squeals and makes little noises. LOVES to stick out his little tounge! :) he is such a great joy we are so blessed to have him in our lives.

I am doing well. We are getting our apartment finally unpacked. I have my scrapbook stuff almost all organized and we got a new desk/table for our computer and my scrapbooking! YAY!!!

its been a while sorry. we are doing well. Just enjoying Kason's baby days. i love that he is small and cuddley but i know that soon he will be all over the place causing mayham. lol anywho.. not too much going on. Kason went swimming for the first time lastnight at the YMCA here in town, he LOVED it. all calm and relaxed. we went with Adam and Carrie and Brinnon. I will have pictures up soon i have to develop them. i used a waterproof disposable camera.

Cabelas opened up here in Lacey, and its a madhouse. We went and walked a round for a bit, there were SO many people in there. But we got this cute picture of Kason. its funny!! :)
